for my jeans I use a pants hanger where like multiple pants can go on one hanger and I think you could benefit from one! I had my jeans in a similar storage method as you and I could never keep it clean until I got one of those

You should put a shower pole on the bottom and then the top hang your dressed in two hangers and the sweaters fold them hanged instead of hanging so they can hold better 😉
