As my husband and I geared up for a long awaited vacation I worked on getting my house ready for my mother in law who graciously stayed at our house to watch our son and our animals! Which meant cleaning things that I don't clean as often! That means cleaning out greasy oven! It may look like this oven has never been cleaned, but I swear to you it has. I have tried baking soda paste and vinegar several times. And, it really never seemed to make a huge difference.
So I enlisted The Pink Stuff - and I have to say it did make a small dent. At least good enough to be considered presentable to a guest in our home. Then I saw a TikTok of someone using The Pink Stuff AND a glass scrapper. If you are like me I had no idea that these existed - so I did what any person would do at 1am watching TikTok - I jumped over to Amazon and ordered the glass scrapper. Then let it sit on my counter a few weeks until I was ready to do some cleaning.
So here is my deep clean of our oven. Is it stratifying - oh yes it is!
