I find you have to play some really great music, open the blinds (or dont), open the windows if you can ..it really helps. But I get what you are saying. Focus on one area at a time

Love the dark floors, they are so pretty! I miss ours in our old house. I was thinking wow if that’s a week with no vacuuming then those pups must not shed too terribly bad. Then I laughed when you showed under the table! 😂. Feels just like home! I’m constantly vacuuming with 2 hairy dogs. Your house is gorgeous and I love your style!

Mrs. Meyers makes a baking soda cream cleanser that works even better than Soft Scrub! I love it & use it in my sink every night.

Autumn Spring This is going to sound so strange but I squirt a ribbon of the cleanser on the bottom of the sink then use a sponge or scrub brush to clean the whole sink - as long as you have enough to scrub around the entire sink, you’re good!

Woah. 34 yo single father here. Probably the only guy in comments section lol. Keeping a clean house is so hard for some reason.... it never happens. 4 kids, they all have chores, and I do the laundry.... I didnt know "cleaning videos" were a thing on youtube until today.... so yeah I'm going to make myself do it while I'm running on motivation from Kelly's video. Thanks lol

Just a tip...to get the disinfecting benefits when you use the Method Anti-bac spray you need to let it set for several minutes before wiping. Nice video!

@@carpelibrum3646 I take it you havent heard antibacterial does not kill more germs then regular soap and water. Do your research. Its been a 40 year test.

ColorOfCharisma Wow, that would be cool if true. I haven't looked at a comparison between plain soap vs antibacterial cleaners. That being said, the commenter wasn't comparing them either. She was simply stating the best way to use the antibacterial cleaners is to let them sit so they can have time to do the job of disinfecting, of which will be explained in the instructions of the product.

@@autumnspring6624 Fully undertstand, but do you have to let your dishes sit longer for it to be fully cleaned after soaping it down, no. Of course the bottle says it. Its marketing antibacterial. MY comment was simply saying theres no such thing, so you can spray, then wipe. Have a great day.

Yes the mrs. Myers backing soda scrub is amazing I used to use the same thing you are in my sink but I highly recommend the mrs. Myers over anything!

Vinegar and baking soda works wonder!😊 it's natural and cleans just as good as the chemical stuff. Plus it's not harming your and your pumps health. I switched to natural cleaners because of my dog, didn't want him to be exposed to toxins inside those cleaners 😄🐺💙

I know alot of people will say Mrs Meyers cream cleanser but I like Bon Ami powder cleanser for the counters and tiles. It's fairly low abrasive and apparently hypoallergenic.

portugesemixi I like the abrasive part of powdered cleansers, but I don't like the powder's looseness because it gets into the air. I use Mrs. Meyer's baking soda cleaner, but I also have Bon Ami, just wish they had some wet version of it.

Nice job! It was refreshing looking at someone clean pretty much the way I do. I do want to recommend to shake your rugs outdoors when you can since when you shake them in the home the dust and hair can go over the places you already cleaned and the curtains.

There is a cleaner called earth bright. It's a natural clay cleaner and it's AMAZING on anything stainless, it even removes oxidation. And you can use it on anything, not just stainless. I have also used it on a flat top stove with burned on stuff I thought I would never get off and it melted everything off!

It's so interesting to see cultural differences in cleaning...I love how you vacuumed the hard floor...it looks so much easier...In my culture we only vacuum carpet...My mom would punch me dead in the back of my head...😂

Undergarments are strictly hand washed...and I'd be punched if I tried to wash everyday even if we have washer and dryer...But I think the things I saw here are good too...I live on my own now so I'd try them.

Her vacuum probably has a hard floor setting that turns off the brush roller. That keeps it from flinging debris around and from scratching the floors!

When I was growing up, my mother only vacuumed the large area rugs. All of the hardwood and tile got dusted with a dusting mop. I don't recall ever seeing her vacuum any hard floor surfaces. Now we are talking many years ago. I am 66 so I'm talking about in the 50s and early 60s. Oh and we were just a typical American family that lived in a typical semi-rural neighborhood. And by the way, I vacuum everything with my Roomba 2 or 3 times a week. Plus once every couple weeks, the area rug in the living room gets done with the big vacuum. And once a week I dust around the edges of the hard flooring with a dust mop to get what the bot may have missed.

Baking soda works just as well and will leave your sink super shiny! I also use barkeeper's friend, just a tad shinier, but you have to rinse more.

I personally love the ecosense brand of cleaning products. They are non toxic, chemical free, & biodegradable. They dont even require child safety caps! I also just purchased the o cedar mop, I love it!! I have tile floors throughout the house so it was a must. Great video & I just subscribed! 😊

Hi Kelly not sure if followers have already suggested this item in lieu of the soft scrub... It's this one Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Cream Cleaner, Lemon Verbena, 12oz It is amazing I use it on my kitchen sink gets all the grime off plus leaves a great scent, shine & polish behind, and natural made product. I use it on my stove top along with the method degreaser it has been a game changer and leaves a great polish. I use it on all my stainless steal utensils, and all my glass bowls that keep left overs... I use it on the glass bowls with a bit of dawn soap and it leaves the glass bowls sparkling clean. I use it on the tub also with some dawn and the tub is left super shiny. Love this product I load up on it at target only $4.49 along with the method degreaser and method antibacterial great for my granite counters and any counters disenfects and leaves a great shine on all my counters. Really hope you try them, thank you for all your videos and motivational cleaning lots of love ❤ and blessings 🙏 cause we all need it 😊

Instead of soft scrub i would recommend using Baking soda and dish soap combined to clean the sink. The baking soda works as the abrasive and the soap cuts the grease. It works amazing and is much more natural! And cheaper too!

I sprinkle baking soda in my sinks and add a squirt of dish soap to make scrubby bubbles. Works amazing!

another thing you could use for your sink is sugar soap which doesn't have bleach in it and has less chemicals and you don't have to put much of it in your sink since its a strong cleaning product and will usually get out strong stains
