Careful around the stones, they may look secure, but can topple at anytime and can break bones and even kill if someone was under them. I'm sure you got the cleaning kit from Atlas Preservation. They also have videos on properly reseting monuments as well. kzfaq.info/love/4x-X3waV9Kcj0kuLdSGnxQ

Excellent!! The stones look so much better! Each time Mr. Dan and you, Robert, share the history of Waverly Hall and the people, it paints a picture. As impossible as it may sound with each new share the people come to life. It is like a map of place and time, and its amazing how much I can remember you both talking about. I am sure others feel the same. Enjoyed this one very much! 😊👍👍❣️❣️

The candy store that Dan talked about sounded EXACTLY like the one my grandparents owned when I was a small girl! I vividly remember the big glass case with open boxes of "penny candy" and the big red cooler filled with green GLASS bottles of Coca-Cola. My grandparents sold that store the year I turned 14. In my memory I had to stand on tip-toes to reach the bottle opener on the side of the cooler.....so maybe 4 or 5 years old.

I love hearing the hisatory that you tell. These videos chronicle your area's history, but it should be written down somewhere. When an old person passes away, a whole history book dies. If only someone from each family generation would write down the highlights of each generation, what a history that would be to pass on to the next generation. You have one of the best channels on YT. Thanks.

It is so great and you and Mr. Dan are back at the Byrd Cemetery, and that Jim Byrd's Business Partner, Mr. Baldwin, is buried in the family plot nest to the Byrd's:-) That one Headstone for the Byrd's Grandparents, should NOT have moved that easy. Am a bit worried about that.. But so glad that you used the D2 on the stones and hope you can do it again at some point,. D2 is great for headstones , used properly and will NOT damage the headstones. am thinking of getting some to go out and clean up my great grandparents headstones...

A lot of those tall stones originally had a iron rod that went all the way from the top to the bottom. Over the many years the iron just rusted away. I would use some F-26 construction adhesive on the pieces to hold then together again.

To keep them stones from moving on one another,if all joints are loose remove the joints, cpl strong guys have no problem, take a good brush to clean any old adhesive off, shoot some F26 Adhesive on put section back on,make sure it's straight because after a cpl minutes your not gonna hardly move it again, what I would do is another section every 24 hours,as long as your base is level, then no need to wait for each section,I'd give each section probably 5 min then do the next!Great job guys!

👍👍👍👍👍 - glad you straightened the headstone before the top fell off and broke. Vibrations can move stone. One vibration I can think of is thunder. With the headstone leaning it helps with the displacement of balance and the vibration takes care of the rest. Or some idiot thought it would be cool to lean against it as he talked and it slid out of line. Ooops
