Hi Joe. Do you know what could cause build up in side tubing and how to clean it? We are using the speed clean and distilled water.

can you please add a video that can show us how to put back the Drain tube back in? some one in our office just pulled it out and we dont know when our maintenance guy is coming in ?

do you know if the cycle count can be reset to 0.

Is there a good way to get rid of hard debris in the bottom of the chamber if it has been abused? How about sand blasting with fine media for example? The heater element is deeply corroded and scotchbrite has no affect on the contaminant on the bottom. I was temped to try a wire wheel but felt it is way to abusive to the surface. What is posisble?

Hi Stan, I have had luck with “barkeepers friend” and a green scotch pad. If the stainless is already covered in rust then the scotch pad will not cause damage to the finish. The pitting on the heater cannot be scrubbed off. Depending on the severity of negelect, the element might need to be replaced.

A few questions. First, the manual states to not use anything abrasive to clean the inside of the M11 and the trays. I noticed you used a green Scotch brand scrubber, but I would consider the green scrubber as abrasive. I have taken over the responsibility of maintenance cleaning and have noticed that on the trays and interior is a brown discoloration that I believe can be scrubbed off but apprehensive to do so for fear of corroding the metal. What is your suggestion? Second, the manual states to rinse or wipe off the surfaces inside after cleaning with distilled water, yet I have seen other videos where this didn't seen to be the case. To rinse the trays and wipe down the surface after cleaning, is distilled a must? Third. we are having issues with the paper from our pouches wanting to stick to the trays and sometimes tear the pouch? What could cause? Thank you.

1) I would start by gently scrubbing with a blue scotch brite pad first just in case it’s just a surface stain. If the autoclave hasn’t been maintained and the chamber and has coloration that won’t wipe off, then the stainless has already lost its protective ability. If this is the case, then a gentle circular motion with the green pad will help clean it up. 2) I would suggest distilled water in the chamber but the trays can be rinsed off with tap water and dried. 3) If you clean your trays really well, this might prevent your pouches from sticking. Hope this helps.
