I was interested in seeing how you washed them; but, you completely skipped that part. My customer is concerned that their metal blinds will rust if I submerge them under water. Does anybody know if they will rust.

The reason for our company vacuum the blinds are because there are a lot of min blinds on the market that has a tin film on them. We wanted to make sure that we will be able to clean with ultrasonic. By using ultrasonic cleaning there are million little bubbles that go back and forth to clean the product. If there is a little pin hole the sound ways will find it and left the paint and the film right off the blinds That's why we were vacuum, Other thing is to see how oxidized the blinds wear. The customer ask us to do everything we can do to save the blinds There was 27 blinds just like that one we save all of them.

If you accidentally bent blinds while you clean, you can fix them with MiniBlindRx. I saw it in "This Old House Magazine". It worked really well. Now they sit straight and level.

We are very careful not to bent them. If they are 6 gauge they my bent. Most blind are 8 gauge .

joemchang Because you're watching someone vacuuming a blind while being told about the ultrasonic cleaner, soooo.... you patiently wait to SEE the cleaner work and NOPE... not showing that! THAT'S why the dislikes!

I think it would be better to lay it flat on a flat surface and pressure hose it , finish it off with a good vaccum with a brush

vaccum, if still bad, wash it. really hate this kind of blinds so much that I change to roller blinds :[

I hate those, just dust collectors. When I move into a place with those, I take them down and throw out.

I am very sorry to say that there's a lot of people that just love their style of blinds. Then they decide to have them clean and that's when they call a person that knows how to use ultrasonic to restore their window covering close to the original. Thank about it homeowners window coverings doesn't get cleaned normally tell they been up over 5 years. Homeowners normally have the carpet tile clean lease every 6 months and they don't think to have blind clean till the lady of home is have coffee and looking out the window that's when they realize that they need cleaning or they having some type a function and their home and t want everything to look nice. Homeowners should have them clean every two years professional cleaning not wipe them down that does not get the dust mites
