You know, if you stop and think about this, it's kinda wholesome. Guy has spoken a lot about being in a dark place when he got out of the military, he turned his life around, he's happily married, and now he's entertaining people and having fun, by just working on his hobbies. "I've loved guns when I was a kid, and I've come to love them more as I grew up. When I turned 21, I didn't go drinking with anyone, unlike what I think most would do. No, I went down to the local gun store and bought myself my first handgun. It was a M1911, and I shot it on that day. I was still in the military at the time, so I took it back to the barracks room and cleaned it, even though some of my friends decided to invite me out drinking. In the military, I was issued an M4, which is probably one of the few guns I would consider myself an 'Expert' at. I like to think I took care of it, especially since I took care of the other M4s in the unit I was in. Speaking of M4s, someone came in and asked for a custom M4A1 built for them. 13.7 inch barrel, Griffin Armament M4SD Suppressor, Magpul CTR stock, and a Daniel Defense M-Lok vertical foregrip mounted onto a Geissele MK16 13.5 inch handguard. Ergonomics must be over 50, and less than 270 recoil sum, and not over 3.5kg in weight. Hopefully he takes care of this rifle as well as I did."

P90, my beloved. I'm glad you're doing the things you love to do now! Closest I've ever come to gun maintenance is the weapon cleaning mechanics in Into the Radius. It's something that I need to get the hang of now that I own a Weatherby 12 gauge and a Ruger Wrangler. Gonna try and start my own collection over the coming years.

@@Zach_Hazard Thanks man. This thing has just been sitting in my safe after putting 50 rounds through it when I was showing my dad how to use it last year and just never got around to cleaning it. My cleaning kit is just lying on top of my bookcase waiting to be used. Oh yeah, had enough money from Christmas gifts and my birthday that I was seriously concerning buying a used MK23 that I found locally but I also really wanted the new Steam Deck. I bought the Steam Deck 😅. MK23 will have to wait just a bit longer.

@@garenkijolfo4393 Local one was a missed opportunity but Steam Deck is my daily driver PC now. Hard having a way to game as someone who travels a lot. I’ll likely get a MK23 one day when I’m settled into my aviation career, but for now I don’t need it as a person who puts all his money into his career training and cost of living.

Twitch is actually perfectly fine with guns as long as you're not brandishing them *at* the camera or dicking around with loaded guns in an unsafe way. People even stream themselves doing stuff at firing ranges with no issue

Funny that I'm watching this as I do my own rifle maintenance. I've always had KZfaq as my gun cleaning background noise, usually you and Mike's long format vidoes. I still remember trying to find my lost Type 81 extractor spring while you and mike ranted about Code Veronica.
