In this video I'm cleaning the lens elements in my old Leica-A Elmar 1:3,5 f=50mm (I don't have a Leica A camera...).
To disassemble this lens, you begin with the little set screw on the side.
If the retaining ring is to tight, you can use "nail-polish remover" with Acetone to soften the threat lock and then unscrew the retaining ring or the front ring
I use "PEC-PAD*" lens wipes together with the Hydrogenperoxid 3% and then use lighter fluid to clean the rest. It turn out to be very good.
I know I could have done more on the front lens but it was actually just to show you that it really work's.
But it was also to show one how this lens is disassemble, when the lens element's need a cleaning.
