Exactly! Unless its a small project or I’m extremely motivated and have lots of free time, it usually takes me 2 days to a week or more. And thats normal!

Taking care of your space when you're struggling to take care of yourself can be so difficult. It can seem like a small thing but this really is huge and I'm proud of you!! I finally put away laundry that had been stacking up on my chair today and it felt.... so good.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video (and the previous cleaning one)! As a fellow woman with ADHD, I love the idea of cleaning/organization videos, but in practice they usually just make me feel like shit. This was so much more realistic and felt motivational instead of just intimidating.

i’ve found a good way to keep motivated to organize is to tell myself i only have to do it for 5 minutes. then i usually end up finishing whatever task it was anyway ,but even if i quit after 5 minutes it was better than not trying at all

With the tartlette pallete that is chipping, I suggest putting clear packing tape over the chipping paint. It will stop it from flaking off everywhere. I've had to do that with a couple of my pallets that were getting all beat up from constant use.

I’m always going through ups and downs and when I finally get manic enough to clean my vanity it’s normally just like that and I always felt like I was dirty and worthless because my messes didn’t looks ANYTHING like the beginning of other cleaning videos. I use makeup wipes to clean my bathroom vanity drawers (it’s white and gets NASTY) and area around the bathroom door knob (door is also white). Works pretty well. This was really motivating, thank you!

That looks great! As a cosmetologist i reccomend that you dont expose your skin care products to the sun because in can make them go bad very easily put them in a dark place! The bathroom is not a good idea because it can cause bacteria to grow faster

Honestly, I needed to see this video! I told myself that I was going to declutter my makeup this year because I still have products sitting in my makeup collection that are OVER 10 years old, and most of them were even expensive enough to justify "organizing" over and over again! I bought a ton of those cheap bulk packages they sell at stores like Walmart and Target around the holidays to build a collection quickly, and now it's just a waste of storage space... I didn't quite grasp the concept of quality over quantity when I was in middle/high school (ESPECIALLY when it comes to makeup), but now I know that you tend to get what you pay for with makeup... especially with those bulk packages where you get 10+ items for $10 or less. So it's past time to get rid of the old crappy products I haven't used in years to make room for stuff I would actually enjoy using. Anyway, this video was the perfect kick in the behind to stop making excuses as to why I keep putting off decluttering my makeup! All this year I've been using "ugh, it's 2020" as an excuse to not get anything done... Because while it's not easy to get something done when you're not feeling like yourself... I know that not allowing myself to make progress isn't going to help my mental health at all... I can always do it little by little, and stop for the day if I get overwhelmed. :)
