What I do is , take the brush out and under running water in the kitchen, I take a fine toothed hair comb not brush, and use it to brush out the crap it picked up, this way the water prevents the dust and skin flakes from floating in the air for you to breath .then take a towel and dry it, the brush is fine if only damp when running.

@5:11 I’m not sure you should clean the filter or dustbins with water because it’s promoting mold growth and defeats the purpose of cleaning your filter. The rule book said not to and makes sense. Ima stop doing with my filters. The plastic ones in my A/C I might keep doing cuz it’s soo easy and easy to dry. But it brings to light how I might have a dirty environment which I perceive as clean.
