As a low key horder myself, I find it’s a lot easier to get rid of stuff if I fill a tote of unwanted clothes/stuff and put it in a storage closet for a month or two. If in that time I don’t go for any of those items, I donate/sell the tote full!

I have one place in my house that is my messy place. The whole house is minimal but my closet is where i give myself grace from having to be perfect. clothes can be left on the floor and where things don't need to be perfect. Makes my anxiety feel so much better.

Idea from a crafter. If you have shirts you love but are to small or something you CAN turn them into pillows as for other clothes items... you can cut out a patch and slowly make a patchwork quilt.

A way I keep myself in check each year is by using giant and small space bags I store neatly under our guest bed.
