I love how META this thought is. When you create a character you literally choose what parts of Harry's brain are still intact after that alcoholic bender he had. And limited Thought Cabinet capacity(suggesting brain damage) forces you to choose what thoughts you still wanna focus on, and which you wanna let go. After all, Harry was EVERYTHING. An insightful detective, an empathetic lover, a sturdy coach, a dexterous gunslinger/dancer. And he HATED it so much he couldn't live with it.

This is pretty terrifying when you consider how bad some of the skills are at higher levels. An imposing bully (physical instrument), a controlling partner (authority), a manipulative liar (suggestion/drama), a self-destructive masochist (endurance), a paranoid adrenaline junkie (half-light), an *actual* junkie (electrochem) and a straight-up schizophrenic with potentially supernatural visions (shivers/inland empire/esprit de corps).

@@stigmatawood It was a beautiful way of showing how the thoughts actually play into one another. It's also a nice way to show that, by cleaning out the rooms, Harry gets to become a much gentler person, both with others and himself

i don't know if anyone caught this, but my design for the Ex-Something through Harry's vague memories is a mix of some of the women he's met so far (Lena and Klaasje, Joyce and Soona, Sylvie with Lilienne's earing, and ending with Dolores Dei)... he still doesn't remember her

Oh crap i know what he ment, some people like me allways dream about a place with unlikely features such as; great,supportive friends, a love interest, a school with great education system that hungers me to learn more, a life with great future... a future that never camed rebembering it makes it more painfull, it will never came this is the reality im facing and i need to make the best out of it.

After two or three walkthroughs, I think the developers should give Harry the chance to completely forget Dora. No gum smell, no wierd dreams three times a week, no passing out, no nothing. Because there's a future waiting for Harry. Communism will be revived and Dora, as a symbol of capitalism and those ridiculous moralist is already a past thing.

that's actually already possible in the game! if you avoid everything relating to dora, you can fall asleep at the island and not have that final dream

@@stigmatawoodI feel like doing it is undermining all the struggle you're going through. Yes, it's like re-opening a wound in a way, but avoidance never heals, even if it feels good. If Harry never truly confronts it and figures solution that doesn't include clinging to Dora, he still will be haunted by the faint memories, never quite understanding what's wrong. It's better to know what's wrong and willingly choose to move on, to keep going forward on your own volition.
