Cleaning the Dirtiest $500 Air Jordan Concord 11's

These Air Jordan 11's came in for a restoration and they were caked in mud. After cleaning off the mud, I was surprised to see the mesh still dirty. I tried countless methods and I was losing hope. I gotta hand it to Bar Keepers Friend to finish the job. Whitening the mesh was the most stressful part. I fixed the 23 on the heel by making my own stencil. They're for sale on my eBay page. They're $22 for 8 peices

You can often get good results with iron remover, like White Ox. Most dirt, especially red clay, has iron in it and the iron is tough to get out. That's why blood is hard to get out of fabrics. Also, if you scrub them under water with cleaning solution in it you'll stand a much better chance of lifting the stains out. When you scrub them out of water the dirt has no where to go. You're just rubbing it around / into the fabric.
@cloudsenpai9258
@cloudsenpai9258 10 ай бұрын
It can get messy, but I've gotten out the toughest stains, in literally anything, even blood lmao. You mix baking soda, peroxide, and dish soap, and make sort of like a paste, scrub it in if you have to, and then pour vinegar over the stain and leave it for at least an hour, it should either go away or lighten tremendously. And then u repeat as necessary. But it may have to be applied slightly different for shoes.

OxyClean Max Force. You're going to want to spray it on there and let it do what it does, reapply every few hours. It'll break the stain out. You then hit it with your cleaner and then run it through the washer. Also, use a laundry detergent with OxyClean. I clean all my white fabric shoes this way.

You gotta use platinum dawn blue dish soap. It works way better to me inbmy opinion. I use oxyclean ax like you do the gel and the spray. They work 90 percent of the time but the platinum dawn works 99 percent of the time I guarantee it.😊

I suppose you could try a baking soda and hydrogen peroxide mixture to whiten the discolored mesh that soap and water can't clean. If you make a paste and leave it on the stains for 20 minutes or so, that *should* noticeably improve the appearance. Baking soda and peroxide toothpaste works as well, and smells minty fresh to boot.

~~Helluva job there Sir! I found what does the job when all else fails, using 32 oz spray bottle; 1 Heaping scoop OxiClean Versatile (not laundry) powder mixed w/24oz hot water along w/4oz Dawn Platinum& 4oz Isopropyl Alcohol 70%. (Anything else it'd be 90%) With leather shoes I'd spray it on Mr. Clean pad first&as you go doing the leather first w/hot wash rag ready to wipe off. Massage bit mineral oil on before doing the 2nd&leave on until after doing the tongue. Spraying directly on&use a soft bristle electric tooth brush. ~~Likely need another once over they're like these while this cleaner, however, would've knocked out 90% to start. And the mineral oil not only helps keep the leather conditioned in between,as well as after. But should help bring dirt in the pores to the surface? AGAIN,NICE WORK/JOB!
