They’re called Dubia Roches, commonly used as feeder insects for reptiles. He most likely bought them at a local petco or off a breeder, they usually live in high humidity areas so they couldn’t of lived where he “found” the shoes.

^exactly. a little dirt can be washed off hella easy like literally easy as fuck to just clean the dirt off there was no extreme wear sole damage yellowing severe creasing caked in dirt none of that just a light coat of mud that somewhat have the appearance that they might have been there for a while. most people are just fucking gullible though so it’s easy for a dude to make lots of money faking videos and at the same time promoting products to clean said fake dirty shoe. but who am i to know anyone’s hustle.... just another person on the internet.
