The water surface of the pool is cleaned by a skimmer, and a homemade bottom vacuum cleaner will help us clean the bottom of the pool.
We have collected such a simple device from scrap materials.
The brush and pipe were taken from an old vacuum cleaner
The wooden handle is a boot grip
A 3 meter long hose was purchased separately
There is a smart connector at the end of the hose. Yes, yes - this is a plumbing plunger)
All connections are securely fixed with electrical tape.
Let's start cleaning the bottom of the pool.
Our pool has a skimmer and a filter pump.
First of all, we disconnect the skimmer from the filter, immerse the vacuum cleaner, trying to prevent air congestion in the hose.
We connect the smart connector to the filter pump input. It is reliably sucked in by the water flow.
With smooth movements we collect dirt from the bottom of the pool.
The vacuum cleaner collects well settled debris and sand.
When all the dirt from the bottom has been collected, disconnect the smart connector and take the vacuum cleaner out of the pool.
The next step is flushing the filter. Disconnect the pump from the network and take out the cartridge.
See how much dirt and debris has been collected.
We wash the filter with clean tap water.
All this dirt was in the pool before!

Cleaning the pool takes about 15 minutes.
