Demonstration on cleaning the washing machine drum/tub with citric acid.
1) Weigh the quantity of citric acid, approximately 150g and place it on the washing machine drum.
2) I set the normal cotton program at 90°c without options or short duration and spin at minimum 400 rpm.
3) While it has taken in the water and is at the low level of the basket, I pause and add a bucket full of water directly to the basket so that I can descale more parts of the tank with the citric acid. The water must at least reach up to the tire (medium level).
PS: The citric acid must be positioned as I show in the video, on the basket stirrer and not directly on the basket. Not even on the tray.
It is important to set the temperature at 90°C with the longest cycle possible so that it descales limescale and sanitizes more parts of the tank. It is also important to add more water, the little water you take at the beginning is not enough.
