This is the result when a company has the perfect equipment for this messy job. A huge chipper and a multifunctional excavator plus a skidsteer with multi equipment. Last but not least you and your crew at the controls. It was a great pleasure to see expert’s on this job. Thumbs 👍👍👍🇩🇪😎

I think track manufacturer has a lot to do with it as well. I would throw Camso tracks on my skid steer once or twice a week. Nothing wrong with the terrain, they were just very stretchy/soft tracks. After putting Bridgestones on the machine, I never threw a track again. My experience with four sets of Camso's across three different machines is that they are complete junk. Get Bridgestones if you can.

Very nice job! It looks great!! That Mecalac is a beast! I wonder if they collect any data on what hoses go first, or the order they will likely need replacing? That would be a lot of $$ to have a spare for each one! Maybe some are duplicates? Just thinking out loud. LOL. Awesome job!! 8) --gary

Wow must be some crazy regulations on loggers there in California. Anywhere else its standard procedure to use tops for a creek crossing as long as you pull them out once you're done. And what's the use of chipping it will rot down over time regardless if its chips or logs it's still just wood.
@geraldkoth654
@geraldkoth654 2 жыл бұрын
The trees are dead because of pine beetles. You have to strip the bark and burn them or otherwise destroy the tree. So chipping keeps the beetles from spreading further. Second the owner did not want to look at piles of downed trees. Third the downed trees can pose a threat when there are wildfires.
