Aftermarket hoods sometimes have different size bolts than stock. My HO Fibertrends hood was that way.

Definitely they do. My hood is stock, but I still think they changed the bolts during paint.

I just bought that Cervini hood and the bolt hole thread pattern is not the same as stock hood. I went through my box of old bolts and found a match to the pattern. Then went to Lowe’s for some new bolts. Great job Tiffany! I always show you working on the car with Matt to my wife and it seemed to motivate her to help me more, thanks👍🏼

The kit was great, like I said beautiful. I had exactly all the same issues that you did and I found out that my car doesn't have the front bumper brackets. I should have just bought the fender bolts but thats entirely my fault so instead I will find a home for all that beautiful hardware from Cerbinator.

New cups with hardware with fix it. The little bolt usually is a u type clip bolt. I had the same problem on my car. You could also use a nut on the back side but you will obviously have to hold the nut when tightening.

I am well known around here for overtighting and breaking heads off. I have got to the point I get it snug and let someone else torque it down.

Great Video and an awesome wife for sure. You probably should have popped for the Allen Head/Hexhead socket that fit the kit, would have made it easier to install. I drop crap all the time, I have a few extendable magnets to fish out the dropped stuff. I love the dedication you and your wife have to your channel and your fans. Even coming up with relevant content when your back is out. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Scott, it's great to have her help as always. Matt has some of the sockets you mentioned for Allen keys and man oh man would that have been easier. He told me the same thing LOL. We keep trying to bring something entertaining yet useful if we can. Thanks!

Good job Tiffany !! I like ur cold Air intake it's aluminum but I don't like the way it just sits in the in engine Bay instead of going into the fender well!! If u remove the cups u might be able to get that back nut or what ever it is not sure just saying could be wrong but it would be nice to remove the hinge cup in u can get to that nut maybe get it in place in put a few lil tack welds to hold it if u can get to!! I am sure somebody will no u should of pop the cup out to see if u could get to the back side of the cowl u should!! Good luck buddy that's what I was thinking Matt it could be like 1 of those clip bolts once u remove that cup u can probably get right to it!!

One of my Indispensable tools are my magnetic pickup tools. Extendible, bendable shaft, pencil. And a Bright flashlight! So, four.

I’ve used these before on a daily driver. Just a tip. If the hole you are inserting the screw into isn’t cleaned up before installation. It has a high chance of seizing! And if it does it’s a pain to remove cuz it’s a counter sunk screw. Again, I used these a daily driver. If it’s a weekend car stored inside you may be better off. Just wanted to add my long term experience with this type of fender bolt system.

He did, and i think it may have been the same issue where the bolt wasn't screwing down due to the threads on the other side. Yeah it's always cool to have her help for sure.

The speed clip has to be pushed back into place as it slides in between the firewall. To correct, you need to remove the hood and the entire hinge itself then you’ll be able to see what I’m referring to. Maybe I should do a “HOW TO” video on this Lol🤣 Hope that helps and as usual great video✊🏼🏁

So could really use some help. I purchased a fox and I’m no mechanic. The fuel pump is not coming on. It has a super charger and I don’t know what to do to fix it

Could be a lot of things. If power is getting to the fuel pump, then you may need a new one. It's hard to say. If you are local to Charlote, NC you can contact Matt at FoxResto as sometimes he does won't start or run diagnostics on FoxBody's. The number is (704) 888-1278
