My initial thought was the beeping was covering someone swearing. Soon realised it was the machine reversing. Lol. I can watch this all day long. 👍

You need 95 horse with high flow those mulches are around 24 Grand usually new and you need the forestry package so you're looking at a lot of 50 to $60,000 skid steer I've seen them for rent but you best just hire somebody for about twelve hundred bucks for 8 hour day thousand 1500 about

I think it's crazy how many people have skid steers without back up cameras. Just waiting to kill somebody I guess. You can buy a complete universal kit for ALL skid steers where I got mine for $200 with a swivel mounting arm and everything at the website FederalMilitaryParts (dot com of course)
@victorwathavu7 жыл бұрын
Do you find the pusher a good thing? I removed mine as it put too much weight on the front, especially mulching down hill, and then trying to back out. Good precise work by the way. Your gear should last you a long time.
@phillipslandclearing1887 жыл бұрын
Tom Yosiffidis it actually comes in handy for us a good bit. We mulch a good bit of 6-12" trees ranging up to 40-50' tall. So using it to push the tops over definitely comes in handy.

@mikel95676 жыл бұрын
If you're getting one why not just take video of your own jobs and put it on your website? Obviously if you really own a company and are getting one of these then you not only have a need for one but also know its capabilities. No need to use someone else's videos for your own gain.

Im developing 40 acres in the U.P. of Michigan. I have a T-750. Do you think this attachment would work well with that machine?
@phillipslandclearing1887 жыл бұрын
wilkemanor is the t-750 a high flow hydraulic machine? Sorry for the delayed response!
@beckywatt50485 жыл бұрын
wilkemanor Why don't you find someone with a hydroaxes that does hourly work ,like a tree trimming company that subs to a power company ,some look for outside work.
@janosvadas Жыл бұрын
It’s not just about having the machine. The 750 likely will do just fine with that mulcher. But these forestry machines also have added protection to the machine hydraulics etc as well as a ballistic operator door. They are not joking when they put “stay back 300 feet” on it as a warning.

@Bwatt50006 жыл бұрын
Bryan Kerr it depends on the type of SS you want and the attachment. The Forestry Mulching attachments range from $20,000-$30,000 alone and the teeth can get expensive . That's just a reference point on what to expect after you add in the cost of the Skid Steer. You can easily spend $100,000 for both considering you need something that can pump out enough gallons per minute (GPM).

Why do people let the overgrowth get this bad? Just do it more frequently using something like a Brush Hog and you won't have this problem.
@michaellarson51913 жыл бұрын
Is it just me, or does it seem very inefficient when you’re constantly raising and lowering the boom? Seems to me with a drum muncher, you could just leave it low and just push forward.
@tedspeed33382 жыл бұрын
That’s what I thought. Isn’t the tall push bar to bend the small stuff down, then the drum cuts/mulches it?
