My sweet mother, two suggestion to protect your sweet boys . Add two more bars around the fire or cooking area, the boys can easily climb over it the same at the front door. Secondly paint your house inside and out,and close up the gabs of your house. Too big gabs are open to let unwanted critters come in,plus it won't be warm in the cold seasons
