Hi just wanted to find out how you like living there and is it still affordable? I live in Seattle and it's expensive here plus the fall/winter drags on. Fyi- I love sunshine!😀

@@gg6ft7 Clearwater is a wonderful place to live. Quite, safe, and the best part the beaches, restaurants.. I was there last November and I am coming back in 2 weeks.. Homes and or apts condominiums are expensive but it is a wonderful place to live. I am thinking on buying a condo next year. You need to take a vacation trip to see it yourself. You will love it! Good luck ..

@@gg6ft7 you are so right..most beautiful places have to very expensive. My co worker bought a house last year and it is already worth $100k more than the price he paid for. I want to buy an apt and use it as an airbnb. Once I reach my retirement age I will then move to Florida. I do also love sunshine...I hate the cold weather in NYC

@@rjwng5836 I'm just curious. What are some of the high-low prices there for condos or Apts? That's quite an increase for the house your friend bought.

Fantastic video. Sixty-five degrees is chilly for us Floridians, so that's why it's kinda empty everywhere. You should see it on the weekends. It's packed! I live just 3 miles from there.

What's good about Clearwater Beach? First and foremost the beautiful white sandy beach. Secondly, the great places to eat, Frenchies and Cooters to name but two. Peace and quiet, after the hustle and bustle of Orlando, Clearwater Beach is a great place to relax before returning home.

You’re out of your mind. This isn’t America’s top rated beach at all. In fact, it is not even close. May be back in the 50s, 60s and early 70s. A little bit of the 80s. But now it is a oversized metropolis without any beach. The little bit of beach that is there you could only see from your car. Yes, you’ll drive around for hours looking for a place to park only to pay $20 to park if you find one. It is nothing like it used to be. And to consider it a top beach at all it’s absolutely ludicrous. It doesn’t make the top 100. It is a place for morons to come and realize they’ve been robbed. LOL how do I know this? I have lived here my entire life and watched it disappear and dwindle into something you could no longer enjoy. When we decide to go on vacation, we have to leave this county into an undisclosed location we will never tell you in fear of it turning into the same type of metropolis. Hahahahaha

I disagree with a lot of what you wrote. Sure, the beach has changed. I too have lived here most of my life. I miss the mom and pop motels that gave it so much charm. I don't like the resort feel..... As far as the sand, you're not going to find anything better in the world. TripAdvisor has rated Clearwater Beach, number 1 in the country, I believe, three times out of the last five years. Also in the top ten beaches of the world. TripAdvisor makes it's determinations based on polls from it's customers. Have you tried getting to the beach lately? It's a zoo. Even at 5PM. I will say, we used to get a lot of European visitors (long before Covid). I'm talking, 1980's, 90's. Now there's more of a trashy element, creeping in.

Wow, you're a negative Nancy. I have lived here almost 9 years but it's still a great place to vacation and live.Yes, it's not paradise. But what is?

Lisa Cunningham well, my wife and I have lived here since the early 70s. And my wife actually grew up on Clearwater Beach on El Dorado Ave. Her family’s house was the first stilt house built on Clearwater Beach. Made the newspaper. As people on the mainland considered them islanders. Everything out there was a mom and pops shop. The hotels, the restaurants the stores all of it. That’s what made Clearwater beach special from other beaches like Miami Beach, Daytona Beach, Manhattan, Los Angeles. And everyone out there knew each other. It had a small town feel. It was a small town beach community. It was not what it is today. Now, I mean you’re nine years free of living here,,,, It is an over built disgusting concrete metropolis with a bunch people with their large town attitude. The beach has completely lost the feel that it had. Seeing that you have only been here for nine years you wouldn’t have any idea of what we once had. You wouldn’t have any idea why were saddened by what we see. You wouldn’t have any idea why we avoid your new metropolis. You are just one of the people that overpopulated our paradise. So while you’re out there driving in circles looking for a place to park to go to the beach and paying way over price for that margarita or piña colada that you participated in dismantling one of the most amazing beaches in Florida. In fact for a long time it was considered one of the last true American beach communities. Now, it’s no different than Los Angeles or Miami. Congratulations. Mission accomplished. Do you have now over populated a beach that was an amazing place for people to come and enjoy a small town beach community. Don’t worry about us originals and what we took pride in! This is about you and what you’ll get out of it. After all being progressive is about progression. Now all we need is a giant freeway to go over top of the beach.

@@TheMorganMonroeShow I can only imagine how the locals in Hawaii feel. Unfortunately, where there is paradise, the masses eventually show up and ruin it. None of us can stay young forever..... the places we cherish, change or disappear. An unfortunate, but inevitable part of life.

Burg Carli I have friends in Hawaii that are native there and they are not stoked either. I think what needs to be kept in mind is the fact that these are vacation places, not places to move to. When you see coral reefs dying, the fish being destroyed, the water color changing from CLEAR to Murky you realize that you’re doing something wrong. Ignore that,,,,, well. It certainly doesn’t give you a lot of room to complain about global warming/climate change, now does it? LOL it’s just a common sense thing. The whole world can’t live on the beach. But, if we take care of our beach communities we certainly can go and visit enjoy it for what it really truly is.
