Just a heads up. No matter how good someone's intentions maybe. I would never put that flash drive into your computer, or any flash drive someone sends you for that matter. Lithium batteries are quite safe nowadays as long as you know their quirks. They can't be overcharged or overdrawn or you'll have issues. If I remember correctly they HAVE to charge to 14.8 and can't drop below 10.5 under power. My dad runs a 35,000 watt stereo system on them and he only drops them to 12.5 at full power so I think Leroy would be safe

That battery is probably safer than a standard car battery. It doesn't give off fumes, will jumpstart the 2nd big bang, discharge protection, overcharge protection etc. Honestly be well worth it.

that battery is made of CMAX (the ford car) lithium cells. they actually perform very very well and there are countless people using them in their sound system set up. as far as the safe side of things there isnt much to have to worry about. Respect that battery as any other battery and you'll be fine. dont short it and dont swing a hammer at it/puncture it and you've got nothing to worry about. there are lots of DIY lithium pages on facebook and I'm sure videos on here as well. they will perform best when charged @ about 15.2 volts and for sure pack a punch. DO NOT use lithium and standard battery together, some guys do but they just dont mix well. that one is already compressed, has bars and a balancer so you're set should you decide to use it. i would absolutely be in love if anyone ever sent me lithium like that!
