F ya! Clem is the man! At 56 my drumming influences include him in my top 10! Thank you! All his beats are very hooky and taught me a great deal about adding to the song, but not taking away from it.

Clem Burke an excellent drummer. Very funky unique fills on the extended version of heart of glass among others. Glad to see he and other members of Blondie are healthy and still touring.😎👍

Amen. Clem is my favorite drummer for several reasons. My go-to kit is a set of 1980 wine metallic Premiers that I got in 2000 for fifty bucks and a jug of tequila. Dude bought them at Guitar Center in 1980 to play in his punk band, and they sat in his shed for 20 years until I bought them. Always wanted Premiers since the early Blondie days.

He reminds me of Mick Tucker, from The Sweet. Underrated, but very influential, and excellent drumers.

Had my same 16" and 18" A Customs as my front crashes for about 22 years now. Still no keyholing or cracks :-) Taken a lot of abuse too.

Same here. I have a tonne of A’s. Been playing a few of them for a good 10 years or so. Still haven’t cracked one. They sound great. I don’t really get all the hype with these dry trashy sounding cymbals that are all the rage these days.

Nice, would love to hear what mics and how you use the little Yamaha mixer to feed into your ears (e.g. direct from drums plus a feed from the board or just monitor feed from the board?). I've been playing forever and need to learn how to preserve my ears (without spending a fortune) and also to record. Thanks for any advice.

DW drums are the best. Many are custom made. They are very very expensive.
