Cleo is positive and smart and resonable cute couple with Lewis

One thing H2O did extremely well was the romance. The storylines and back history are well thought out, and it has about the most honest romance I have ever seen in a show. The girls match their 1955 counterparts almost perfectly, and even wear the right lockets. They even have the right hair colour. Louise did the only known off-shore rescue in 1955. Emma rescued Zane off-shore. Emma's mother also rescued Zane's father! Lewis is obviously Max, and Zane is Carl. And Zane did threaten to break the secret. Here is a question for you. There is no proof at all that Senior Louise is still a mermaid, or immune to water. But she did say she "got rid of it". How? Only Gracie was known to have used the alignment. Didn't Louise say that she couldn't have children? Gracie is known to have had a child - presumably Annette. It is not known if Julia ever married.
