Visited city of Woodbury City Hall to serve an intent to sue notice for failing to provide open records. City clerk Kwajwa was rude and appeared to violated the laws again.
Woodbury police officer; SGT Campbell is a blueprint of how all police officers across the nation should be acting. She is very well deserving of her role and position as a supervisor. She upheld her oath and protected the rights of the people without error. I pray Woodbury keeps does what they can to keep her serving the public in Woodbury.
Mayor Tonya Moody has been removed from office in a special recall election. Immediately following a count of the votes, city clerk/s were terminated from employment and stripped of city access in restricted areas.

I agree. Those who know me know that I am NOT a fan of law enforcement, at all. But Sgt. Campbell is the best of the best. She is, by far, the most professional officer I have ever seen. I too, hope she becomes the chief somewhere soon. She is an asset to her department, and she would be an asset to any department in which she worked. Woodbury, Georgia would be smart to keep her employed until the top spot becomes available. It seems to me that she would display honor and respect as the chief. Bravo Sgt. Campbell. I am a bit humbled by your professionalism and respect for the law.

As a public servant who runs the public records ops for the City I work for, I’m disgusted at this man’s behavior. So glad they fired him. I wish I had the power to fire the folks at my place of work who refuse to comply with our public records law. I’d clean out the swamp so fast, and that would mean firing the City Manager, then removing all of Council and Mayor, because they are our worst offenders.

Blow the whistle on them! Report them to your state's Atty Gen'l office, & copy your state judicial HQ (thru official channels, whatever they might be, in case your AG is buddy-buddy with the ones you're reporting, to head off any claims the complaint "got lost". .

I worked for the federal governement for 25 years. I ALWAYS knew who paid my salary......the taxpayers !!! Many people from 3rd world countries do not trust their governments, and rightly so. Corruption is everywhere. They have to learn they are in the USA and bad behavior is not tolerated ( by most gov. officials, however many Republicans are changing that, looking the other way when there is outrageous behavior by members of their party).....

As a former government employee with over 25 years of experience, I have encountered some of the rudest people known to man. Many working in smaller town municipalities think they are "God" and control everyone's lives; it's pitiful that some do not understand the basics of not only the jobs they are hired to perform but not knowing state laws is worse. It is undoubtedly a pleasure viewing the Woodbury town police officer do the job correctly as she should. Kudos to her & her Supervisors for ensuring her training was correctly managed. As for that clerk, I am happy that he was terminated.

She made two errors. She tried to tell the clerk how to do his job and she was wrong on the law. She has inserted herself into a civil disagreement. The frauditor won't go further. The sole reason he is doing this is to put it on KZfaq for the clicks. The law already has a recourse if he insists on getting a FOIA. You ask a judge for a mandamus. But that doesn't get as many clicks. He is merely harassing the town.

If he is harassing the town, then they can convince the city attorney (who is already getting paid, by the way) to sue the gentleman - in court - to require him to stop. How can you call someone a frauditor when they are simply trying to get the government to obey the law? In less than a minute, the city employee could have done his job and this would have been over with.

It's crazy seeing 2 public servants who are such complete opposites of each other. It's insane how unprofessional, irrational, and frankly illegal clerk Kwajwa's actions were, while on the flip side there's Sgt. Campbell being so incredibly professional, rational, and demonstrating a full understanding of the law. She deserves a raise, and we need more cops like her. I called to commend Sgt. Campbell. I actually talked to the chief, Chief Raft(?), and Sgt. Campbell. Leadership is the reason Campbell responded the way she did. She has been emotionally overwhelmed with the outpouring of positive reinforcement and was very appreciative of it.

The Professionalism of this officer was great. She explained the Law to the pathetic clerk several times and the clerk didn't want to hear it. She did her best ,,,,,,Thank you officer for upholding your oath of office and defending our rights. Now she needs to ensure her officer's are doing the same thing

This clerk needs to be personally added to any lawsuit seeking an amount equivalent to the value of all public assets of the municipality directly from him in addition to the same judgement against the municipality. The amounts should be trebled as punitive damages.

Wow. The Sgt in this video gets it. She earned my respect today. So many times I've watched 1A audit videos where the responding officers just violated the citizen's rights and defend the feelings of the city worker and not uphold the law. That city worker needs to be removed immediately. Not only is he violating the law, unprofessional, and out of control... he's a liability to the city. This is a "check book" lawsuit... meaning.. the city will have to open up that checkbook. Open and shut case.

I guess every state and department could be different though. That’s nuts they would hire someone who needed a translator, and I can just imagine why they would want to do that. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Actually from all the videos I've seen auditing city clerks, I'm completely convinced he learned that right there in that office. City employees are all too used to enjoying their work being done on the internet that they now EXPECT people to use remote' services like mail and the web. The quality is so different as to make in-person service availability absolutely paramount.

This was amazing. Reminds me of the time my family submitted documents to the local authority by post.They claimed they never received it. Fill out another form and post it. No action 3 months later. Same process fill out another form post. This time went through this man's experience. We obtained a receipt. 3 months later still no action! Went in person. Staff said they never received it we showed that person her signature on the receipt proving she was and had lied. So it is absolutely essential you insist on your right to deliver and obtain a receipt for your documents. Well done that officer for her support and recording the racist comment by a public Servant.

@@grantyboy0311 What law is he violating. The frauditor brought one copy and wants the recipient to make a copy. Not the way it works. If he wants a stamped copy frauditor needs to bring to two copies. The cop has no standing here. She is interfering in a dispute. If he wants to hand him the paper then he needs a process server. That way the paper could be sworn to by the process server that it was delivered.

Called in (Their office just closed for the evening) and Woodbury PD has been receiving so many calls and well-wishes and positive feedback from this video. It's amazing to see what happens when the Audit community finds a Good Apple. Some fun facts from the Chief of Police, who was available to take my call (!)- She is the Field Training Officer, every single officer that comes into Woodbury signs on to the goals that she exemplified in this video. She is the role model for the entire PD. (I think she should be the role model for EVERY PD) They have been getting calls for the last five-ish hours (HMMM) about how wonderful she is. This is how we win, folks. We call out the bad, and raise up the good. Once the Brass realizes that it's a headache to keep the bad apples around, and having real, proper, Good Cops on the force makes their jobs easier? They'll be less likely to protect the Bastards.
