I know this security guard personal and he obviously did see them select and conceal items and that's why he stopped and searched them and he done it well within his rights and yas obviously don't know what they can and can't do go read up they had stolen from nearly every shop in Blackpool on the same day so not only did he get b&m's stuff back he also got everybody else's stuff back good day in the office i say well done pal hat's off to you 👍👍

@@BlackpoolandBeyond New store opening, I think today, in Cleveleys, considering not much happens round here, it is big news. Millstores. Unlike many seaside resorts, the shops/ business are not vanishing from high street. Good to see!

That security guard isnt allowed to put his hands on suspects ,if they are innocent they could claim for damages .

@@BlackpoolandBeyond , you can only detain them ,if you've actually seen or filmed them doing it ,then I believe you can , but most shops just let them go as it's not usually worth the hassle .

I don't exactly support shop lifting, but that security guard has 0 powers outside of the store. He cannot grab them or their bags and has no power to detain them regardless of whether in store or not. The truth is they will probably sue and win, regardless of the moral of the situation. The bag itself if it is belongs to them he cannot withold it from them. Its not his duty to withokd anything that isnt from b&m either
