Omg thank you so much for this amazing software. I got into a crash today and it erase the video and I used the tool and thought it wasnt going to recover it because I looked at "deleted or lost" section. But I found what I need in the "reconstructed" tab and downloaded the vids (thank god it was a high chance). I will recommend this to other people for usb recovery needs!

It depends on the drive size and how much drive was used. In some cases, old data stays on the unused part of the drive and recently deleted data may be overwritten by the new data

Hi, I recently got into a minor accident. I believe I correctly saved and viewed the footage on my Tesla on the spot. However, when I got home and wanted to transfer the footage to my computer, it was missing from the recent saves, Sentry mode, or saved folder. I used recovery software Disk Drill to recover it, and I found all the footage right before and after the accident, but the footage of the accident moment is missing. Please help me if you know a way to recover this footage. Thank you

It's great to know that even though the Tesla erases the footage, it can still apparently be recovered with data recovery software.

We do our best NOT to collect any personal information about our clients at all. We run Google Analytics on our website and inside Disk Drill itself, but the latter is opt-in. We do not have access to any information related to your data recovery within Disk Drill: which files, which drives, etc.

Most probably these files were overwritten, but you may try scanning your drive/card to check if this data is still available
