This week on Beauty Trippin, Lily & Joslyn are visiting the Kiehl’s Apothecary. Instead of brewing potions, we learn how to make a magical skin serum that is COMPLETELY personalized for our skin type and problem areas! #SCIENCE!

That might also be why their hydration numbers were so low, maybe? I don't know how the hydration-measuring-thing works but I feel that primer, foundation and powder is probably gonna be a dry film on the skin?

Amanda Eriksson i think they’re just dehydrated and their makeup didn’t have anything to do with it bc the people would’ve made them take off their makeup before it they knew it would skew the results

Joslyn caffeine makes you dehydrated that’s probably why and if you drink as much coffee as you say that’s probably why you are so dehydrated

Gila Monster well actually darling if you do you own research you’ll find out it actually can cause dehydration especially if that’s the only liquid you drink throughout the day

Joslyn Davis oh my god Joslyn just saw my comment and replied and don’t worry about it I drink at least a pot of coffee everyday, and lots of tea, which can do the same thing but as long as you drink some water in between you should be fine! Just watch your pee and make sure it’s not yellow and you’re good!

Gila Monster caffeine is a diuretic which makes your body expel more water, it definitely dehydrates, but it affects some more than others.

Having two baby’s I can tell you it is not easy to take candy from a baby at all. They latch on tight and scream a lot and very loud and make you feel like you are destroying their whole life.

Nah, I used to work there and at other places that use the same things. Unless you were wearing a heavy amount of oil or moisturizer, it’s pretty tried and true. Most foundations don’t contain enough oil to alter results.

Lea Siegert it doesn’t transfer through the tabs. They’re a pretty thick paper then the spot to pick up oil is only on one side.

I discovered Clevver literally a week ago and am afraid to admit to the amount of videos I´ve been playing. A very big number, so keep up the good work! It´s working, I am proof of it. I just couldn´t help but see a connetion between the hydration level of your skin and the pots of diuretic you are drinking daily, Joslyn. I fear that no matter the amount of water you consume, that much coffee just might be harsh on the body.
