It would be nice if canva allowed you to add a second effect to the background such as the "lift" effect or "glow" so the button has a 3D effect

Thank you for your quick response. I just curious I saw ads in Facebook where there are custom clickable buttons and wonder how they go about creating them.

Yeah! Those are likely fake - they probably made it look like a button but the whole post itself is clickable, if that makes sense. You can add any sort of button shape but that shape itself isn't what's clicking, it's the entire ad itself, so that's done within Facebook!

Very helpful, love your fun teaching style. Can you tell me how to retain the clickable hyperlink in a FLATTENED PDF? I created a simple resume, saved as standard PDF which preserved the link just fine, but the copy in the doc was really poor quality, not crisp at all. Went back, saved as flattened PDF, doc looked great, but the hyperlink didn't work! Any advice?

First of all, we have the Pro accunt with Canva and today is July 16, 2024 and I do NOT see that Link option on the screen anywhere. I want to make a gofundme link clickable. Have design made and downloaed and pdf standard but like I said, was not able to see the LINK icon on screen by the transparency button? Therefore my post, do not have a clickable link :(

Try right-clicking! Canva updates its interface all the time. The right-click should show the link option.

Am I right in saying Canvas only allows one type of hyperlink - to urls/websites? It is not possible to link to other files (e.g. pdf, image, video files) on your pc?

So if someone send you a design with 100 urls already typed on canva but not clickale...the only way to make it clickable is adding the actual link to each one of those urls? cause i thought there was a more automatic way of kinda recognizing al the "www. on the text :(

Hi there! You won't be able to add a link that plays audio right on screen, but there are many other ways to do this! You can make a video in canva and add audio clips to each slide. You could also embed KZfaq videos and have them auto-play as well!

You can't! Social media flattens images - you can't add a link in a static graphic, you have to link in post or through Facebook.

I'm not sure! It's a general link so it should force open the app? You might also try generating a QR code which Canva can do.

No, posts are flat graphics and cannot contain link information.
