My client Jr has been on the hunt for a 3lb crappie and on this trip we got close with a 2.29 my scales are messed up because on his bubba scale it went 2.50! But we got it on video as 2.29 so that’s what it’s recorded as!
It was super windy with 2-3ft rollers and the wind was chilly the crappie was staged and moving around we had to cast at them making it a little tough but got a nice bag! Our 7 best went 14lbs and we got a limit to take home for the fish fry!
Baits used were the crappie reaper brush reaper in Ragin craw and rods used were the 8ft catch the fever precision cast, reels were filled up with 10lb comet sniping braid,
