Hundreds of years ago, the lands surrounding Clifden were inhabited by ancient Celtic tribes, who revered the natural landscape and held spiritual beliefs intertwined with the mystical allure of the land. Clifden Castle, nestled amidst the rugged beauty of western Ireland, was built in the early 19th century by John D'Arcy, a local landlord, and has now been abandoned for over a century. 🏰🍀🍃
