This song a centre chest punch for me. That line in the chorus, 'I must've blown apart a million dandelions, now they don't grow in my yard.' That has such a time marches on symbolism to it. When you're young you let the 'weeds' grow and flower and have fun wishing/dreaming on what is to come, but as you get older your 'yard' gets more ordered and all the 'weeds'/play/dreams are either gone or grown out. Leaving just a plain yard of monochromatic grass.

Very true, but for me I'm blessed. I live at the bottom of a mountain on 12 acres of pastures. Dandelions, Queen Anne's lace buttercups and wildflowers grow everywhere. I have a friend who makes Dandelion wine, but I hadn't really thought much about of them since I was a child. After experiencing and loving this song though, now I look across the fields at all those Dandelions and just smile....Thank you Tom.🌼

I love this song more than anything. I have never suffered from addiction because my parents were alcoholics and suffered a very rough childhood because of it. I refuse to drink. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression though. As a single mother I often feel like a failure to my children because I am not happy enough. This song and alot of his music has helped me in so many ways ❤ #HOG

My wish....that this virus leaves me alone for good!! I'm back home again for the 3rd time in a month, hopefully I'm good this time. Cliff your understanding of Tom is the reason I feel your one of the best reactors out their already. Yes he writes his songs, but had the best editor out their in Nova. He had straight out said she helps him with hooks. I'm sure she helps where needed. As well your the only reactor I've heard that keeps hearing her in the background singing. I really feel that line. I’m sure many know that when you get anxiety at times and depression you will literally be contemplating ending it but then having a panic attack when contemplating your mortality on another night. It sounds contradictory, but if you have ever been through it or had someone close be through it you will get what he is saying.

Tom is just a different breed. The first video I saw of his was his second diss to Mac Lethal. I didn't know who either of them were, and I don't even like rap. I don't know what compelled me to click on the video. He looked like he would be the type of rapper that normally I'd laugh at to myself and I was just curious. Oh man, I heard that diss and I was catching a lot of the wrestling references he was using and certain bars had my jaw dropping. So I watched his first diss track and then Mac Lethal's response. I then stumbled onto Whiteboy right after and was instantly a fan. I could just tell there was something different about him so I went through every song, and there were very few that I didn't absolutely love. It was a very happy surprise the day I accidentally found his music. I can't say it has changed my life, but it DOES give me hope that I'll eventually get there.

I dont know why but the track had me thinking of the one time I was really happy and having fun as a child. We were at some big family birthday at some rented huge place me and my cousins explored the building and found a room full of pillow cubes like minecraft even before minecrafdt was a thing where you could build and jump around it was so fucking awesome and I never had that much fun or sense of wonder in my entire life ever again..

I think it's safe to say Tom and Nova have rubbed off so hard on each other they became almost a new entity. It's a good thing and I hope their happiness lasts an eternity. Whoever reads this you are my brother or sister and although we may not look the same or share the same parents, I love you unconditionally faults and all.
