Clifftop 2012 Camp Jam "Jeb's Tune"

Clifftop camp jamming at it's best. Great tune played by some notable musicians. Rosie Newton (fiddle), Gailanne Amundsen (fiddle), Roger Amundsen (guitar), Oona Grady De Flaun (bass) and Niels Bonefaas Poulsen (banjo).Sorry, I only got the last 21.5 minutes. I'm told it is a Jeb Puryear tune.

I have played this video over and over. I am an aspiring fiddle player who hasn't picked up a fiddle in years. Ran across this video again last week and the fiddler's have inspired me to pick it up again. I love this song and I love the extended version these 5 played.

It's just called "Jeb's tune" or "One of Jeb's tunes". This was a great session, it's Rosie Newton (fiddle), Gailanne Amundsen (fiddle), Roger Amundsen (guitar), Oona Grady De Flaun (bass) and Niels (spelled Niels) Bonefaas Poulsen (banjo). Thanks for putting it up in full lenght.

Jeb's Tune was recorded by Bubba George back in the day. At a Trumansburg festival, I believe.

Nice played! As a bass player ( I am one too..) I would have some difficulties with the cords on this tune. A little touch of cajun I would say, maybe. Thanks!

Yep, and Gailanne and Roger from Jubal's Kin. I wasn't sure who the base player was. I really like Rosie and Richie tunes....and these guys sound really great playing together... Thanks again

Andrea, Thanks, I wasn't sure, but others were calling by this name. I have heard Jeb play with Donna the Buffalo but never this tune. I will search it out but please let me know if you come across the name... thanks
