The only climate crises that exist today is in the political climate arena and I am very disappointed that Mick and Clare has fallen into the "sheeple pen". It has been proven many times over that communism does not work so capitalism was the answer to run society. There is however the factor of greed that has been overlooked, making capitalism a bigger crises than anything else. It is this greed that causes the [unfounded] world wide panic. Climate change for the worse and global warming models being used by so called scientists today is all based on peer reviewed hypothesis. The data available to run these models are too limited as it is calculated on shady data collected over a limited time span. Earth has been taking care of itself to rectify imbalances for thousands of years and it will continue to do so for eternity. Fossil and nuclear fueled power generating utilities has been shut down all over the world and suddenly renewable energy has proved to be insufficient and unsustainable at a very critical time. The cost of building and maintaining these renewables is astronomical but the MSM remains shtumm. People are going to die because of the stupidity of a new world order playing GOD.

I would agree with a lot of what Mick Wallace talks about and his vigor in doing so. I do not agree that he's well informed about the destruction of the planet if we don't tackle our use of resources. We should improve and overhaul our energy and land use for food production, but the planet is not going to boil. This is bordering on fearmongering. Not the approach to take to facilitate change. I'm genuinely surprised.

Saying "getting rid of capitalism" is not accurate. First lets look at what capitalism is at it's core. It is the drive of mankind to produce goods and services that are in demand as a want or need, in a competitive market (laws should guarantee and or promote competition) and sell them in order to make a profit (because it's not a non-profit and profit and or compensation {(receiving something of value in order to possess or own it)}, motivates people and or provides incentive without the use of force to TAKE ACTION, while competition REFINES and or INCREASES quality. This is the spirit of mankind in it's most civil and productive form, but when and where this interferes with the COMMON GOOD, there should be adjustments, checks, balances and or restrictions ensuring safety, quality and or the preservation of resources such as uncontaminated water or the implementation of procedures to conduct all things in a safe and proper manner...from the disposal of waste in all it's forms, and doing all these things without depriving the coming generations of humanity from the same opportunities which should be based on a percentage or mathematical value associated with a ratio between population and undeveloped terrain upon the surface of the Earth....a value quite clear of concerns at the moment according to the very large amount of undeveloped land in comparison to developed land...and to not interfere with the spirit of mankind manifesting it's destiny to engage the same opportunities those that preceded them have and that have attained success and happiness from. Otherwise the cycle of violent revolution will continue.
