30,000 years ago Tuvalu and Kiribati were totally submerged. The last ice age brought them above sea level for the first time in thousands of years. The more you know.

This country and its land are incredibly fragile to begin with. Should be grateful it exists for now, as the world is always changing.

This has been in motion for many years now. Kiribati has been sending people to other countries in an attempt to relocate many before it gets much worse. The biggest problem is climate change indifference. The most vulnerable are at stake, and many are very poor. They are ignored the most.

Beautiful island, so sad what is happening to many places with global warming. But I’ve got to mention the cook sampling everything and putting the spoon back in the pot while it drips from his mouth. 🤢
