My trip up the half dome cables. Spent the night at Little Yosemite Valley and made it to the top at 8:25am. We beat the rush, I would definitely recommend the early start.

gave me anxiety at first being scared of heights but took us 8 hour hike to get there from the valley I needed to so it i decided to face my fear.would of been waist of 8 hours of walking but it's so worth it..you can see miles of the park from up there and it's so beutiful so worth it.

Just did it today. It's not so bad. The fish eye lenses on this cam makes it look bad. An 84 year old guy was at the top. He did it. I'll post the entire hike soon

Great video! My wife & I just scored our permits for this July (YAY!). What day/time of the year did you do HD? Did you leave your camping gear at LYV? What time did you leave LYV? Thx.

Congrats on the permits! I went the first week in July. The temperature was over 100 degrees that day..much higher than expected. We started the hike from the bottom around 5 pm and spent the night in LYV. Left all of the over night stuff at the camp site and started the summit hike around 5:30 am. It was nice to miss all the crowds. Things were definitely getting busy on our way down. Cheers bro!

I started at 5 AM from Little Yosemite Valley campground. Left the tent and sleeping bags behind for the day.

I moved slowly with the gopro and was careful to choose the smooth shots when editing
