Climbing the BIGGEST Volcano in West Java, Gunung Ciremai

Like always - I hope to shed light on some of the lesser and seldom visited places in Indonesia, and this episode is no different.
I travel from my last destination at Cianjur in West Java and travel to

01:38 - Sanghyang Kenit - Beautiful rock formations with a river and a cave
03:43 - Sasak Panyawangan - A wonderful bamboo walkway between two ragged rocky karst mountains (Gunung Bongkok and Gunung Parang)
05:37 - Lembang - meh...
07:20 - Rancabali/Rancabolong/Ciwidy - An area of very fertile land south of Bandung - But its FULL and weekenders. Avoid it Fri/Sat at all costs
11:40 - Bandung - A huge city in the mountain plateau (Indonesias 4th biggest city)
15:09 - Gunung Ciremai (Cereme) - my absolute favourite mountain so far. So wild, so natural, this place is crawling with wildlife and is the shrouded with peacefulness. A total privilege to climb this one

If from West Java to East Java, I suggest you try passing the Southern Java Line, which is more beautiful for your travel experience. Travel the southern route of Java with stunning beachside panoramas

Stayed in a pod hotel in Singapore once. Much smaller than your bobo. Quite liked it, mood lighting, aircon, TV amazing bathrooms and rooftop sitting/breakfast area. Cost $35 Australian with breakfast. Would do it again and I was 65 years old at the time.
