I had a super clingy cat when I was a teen. He would sit on my chest and stare endlessly into my eyes. It was so weird, as if he was trying to understand my thoughts and words. I’m sure he will be waiting for me on the other side when I pass on.

For the folks saying they want a clingy affectionate cat: this is why it’s such a good idea to adopt an older cat!! Their personalities are pretty much set, and a cat that is loving on you at the shelter will almost certainly come out of their shell even more when they get settled in. I adopted my cat at seven years old and nearly four years later he is the snuggliest pet i’ve ever had

It all just depends how you treat your cat/kitten and how you raise it. I’ve owned 5-7 cats an all have been fantastic with no issues. All of them super affectionate and never aggressive toward me.

@@illusorytrutheffect well you got lucky. Treating a kitten well isn’t any guarantee they will grow up be be super affectionate. If that’s what people want then like the original comment they should consider getting an adult cat where you can see for yourself how affectionate it’s grown up to be. Also kittens are v easy to rehome but not so much adult cats. Spread the love through the ages y’all!

My kitty Thomas was so attached to me. He would never leave my side ever. From morning waking up with him to going back to bed at night. He would cry so loud in the morning when I had to go to work. Sadly after 14 years of joy he passed from heart and renal failure almost overnight with no warning. I still miss him every moment of every day.

Every cat I’ve had that has lasted the same 14-15 year mark has died of this same issue . I had a vet tell me it’s due to their diet and the older the cat gets it needs more meat proteins and less dry processed foods

@@danielbennett4867 yeah unfortunately it is a common issue as they get older. It depends on the cat but many of them succumb to it. His mom is still alive with no issues but his older sister ( 15) now has renal failure and is on a special diet but that won't help much sadly.

According to our vet, that's about the average life-span of a cat. And the longer they live, the more effected their kidneys get. I was so angry when our Maine Coon got sick with pancreatic cancer He was only 15. That's when our vet told us he lived a good natural life. It didn't make me feel any better, just like you. Sorry for your loss. What really made me mad was most of our other kitties lived 18 to 22 years.

One of my dads cats does this so much, I’m not sure about the kitten she’s yet to get used to me. But the middle child, Phoenix was feral, but my dad rescued him. On the first day as soon as I walked into my dads flat Phoenix was all over me. I can’t even got to the toilet alone. He knew I was scared at first so he never brought out his claws and would walk along me to get me used to him. Three and a half years down the line, when I did online college at my dads he’d lay on the same bed as me. He didn’t need attention he just needed to stay by me. My dad rang me a few weeks ago thinking Phoenix got out again, until he pulled up the quilt on my bed and he was laying there. My heart melts. Before Phoenix I wasn’t scared of cats, but I wasn’t comfortable to be alone with one. He’s changed me and I live him.

My boy Tidus was always like that from a kitten. He was always restless so couldn't sleep well with him but he learned to open doors so he could cuddle me at night regardless! Eventually in his old age all he wanted was to spoon in bed with my husband so I was left out 😩 but not all the time. Gosh I loved him, and still do. When he passed it was such a hard time for me. I still miss him so much and all the love he gave me. I love watching videos like this because it brings back good memories. Thank you for sharing 💚

My Robin is the exact same like him, follows me around everywhere and want some love. At night he sleeps in my arms, animals are precious companions in life.

Years ago My roommate had a black cat named Stoli who was a Velcro kitty. When I came home earlier than her he would sit in my room and demand love with very loud meows, he was such an lovable character, This video made me think of him and smile

I have clingy kittie who follows me everywhere. He has to have his eyes on my at all times. He doesn't cuddle as much but prefers to be a few feet away from me, just staring. I feel like I have a guardian angel or body guard...or maybe a stalker 😂. Clingy kitties are the best. 😊💖

I lost my fat white cat of 15 years ago last month, the 4th of may to be exact, he was my baby, soo soo affectionate towards me only, loved kisses and cuddles with me and only me, oh how I miss that, watching this bought tears to my eyes, cant wait till the day I seen him again. Your so blessed, cherish every moment. 🐈

I'm crying... My mom has a friend with a cat just like this but he is 13 years old and lately, he has been under the weather so much so that it is really starting to look like he'll fall asleep forever before the end of the month... This cat is literally an angel and even though he is not mine he's been a really happy part of my life...

How long have you fed him? I have one on my bed right now, who ate here for 12 years before deciding to be tame. He's now cuddly and affectionate, with the loudest purr I've ever heard. (He did come to me a couple times when he had a medical emergency though. Somehow he knew, that even though he was untouchable most of the time, he needed to put up with it during dire circumstances.)

This is about the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Bless this loving little kitty ...hope the two of you have a very long, healthy life together 💕 I’m jealous as I have a sweet (formerly feral) kitty who wandered into my yard 11yrs. ago. She clearly was abused by someone ... had her left eye poked out. She has many, many health problems. I love her & am so grateful for her. But, sweet & cuddly she is not. So, love seeing a kitty like this.

I have one like this. She'll go outside all night long, but when she comes in, she yells at me to sit down so she can snuggle under my chin and fall asleep.

He looks at him with such LOVE! lol! "Oh I love you so!" Cats usually pick women as their favs, whoever they choose they are most loyal to. You can train him with stronger "not now" commands. They get the hint. But once they are in lovey mode, it's kindof hard to redirect them. I trained our cats to wrap around my neck, and sleep in the hood of jackets etc. Though it is a thing they must learn when they are kittens. Enjoy the love.. the years go by quickly. I just lost our last cat at the ripe old age of almost 19. I miss all 3 of them so much...
