That eye cover visualization experience is interesting because from my experience & how it was explained to me psychedelics dont cause you to see things that aren’t there but rather altering what is already there so i wonder what exactly is being visualization under the eye cover with the mixing of perceptions.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:02 🍄 *Set and setting are crucial in a psychedelic journey, emphasizing a safe environment and responsible individuals to prevent harm.* 03:23 🎶 *Music plays a pivotal role in shaping the emotional and cognitive experiences during a psilocybin journey, driving the journey's contours.* 06:36 🕰️ *Psilocybin journeys typically last 4-6 hours, affected by dose, metabolism, and food intake. Synthetic psilocybin is commonly used in clinical studies.* 11:45 🔮 *Under psilocybin, perceptual blending or synesthesia occurs, merging senses like vision, hearing, and touch, affecting emotions and perceptions.* 18:24 🧠 *Psilocybin's impact involves increased brain communication, reduced hierarchical organization, and broader sensory information flow, contributing to blended and less precise brain activations.*

I've eaten mushrooms many times throughout this life and I can honestly say I have two brain diseases one which is multiple sclerosis which I've had for 10 to 15 years now eating them every weekend I started microdosing because my ex-boyfriend add cluster migraines which are absolutely horrendous with him the mushrooms stopped his cycle for the 2 years we were together which is pretty rare especially for him especially for him I was eating them or we were every weekend for about 2 years I shrunk one of my brain lesions which is impossible in the MS culture and research my neurologist was an utter shock and asked me how I did it I did not tell him which I should have my boyfriend has a client his wife has really bad brain cancer and was at the point where she could not walk or talk until she started to microdose with mushrooms she's now walking and talking living life again living life again these mushrooms really are magical

I tried shrooms once, and after the first 45 min, I was feeling nausea and lied down, just staring out the window, then I turned as I lied on my carpet, and saw my calendar on the wall, and I noticed the words started to "drip", as if the ink was not dry and started to fall under gravity, slowly dripping down the calendar, I shook my head and they sort of went back to shape, then started to drip again, and thats when I knew I was starting the journey. Later on I went outside for a walk in the park and I saw the clouds just vaporize above me, all the clouds were moving within the cloud shapes and above the clouds on the edges they were vaporizing, it looked like the cloud was burning without the red color. Then I just looked at the clouds till things went back to normal. I did not listen to music though, gotta try that next time.

@@westsidedann very cool to know, I've yet to try it now that I'm not working in a country that allows for shrooms, have to wait till I come back home to canada. so does music sound the same? or is it totally different? What music do you listen to? does that make a difference, I would imagine rock vs rap vs classical would be very different during a trip.

I don’t even know how you got up to walk after laying down. I did my first time last night and it was hard to walk or move. Felt like I was going in and out of reality when I tried to refocus kind of like you mentioned the calendar slightly went back to normal for a second. It was intense.

@@keeganhughes1609 To be honest I felt ok to walk, but was just in some ”mental zone", I wouldn't have started jogging or tried to lift weights or perform something intense. But walking at the time felt relatively ok. But maybe it was the dosage I took vs what you did? or the type of shrooms. I also did the tea thing (boiled them in water and drank it) vs eating it raw.

First time I dropped Mickey Mouse acid I met Jesus. I was about 16 years old and I had just gotten home from being out and it was about 3am. He was standing in my bedroom with two sheep at his feet. He didn't look me in the eye, he was looking off to the right. He didn't move much but I could see his chest moving (he was breathing) but the sheep were looking at me. I wasn't afraid, I felt like he didn't know I was looking at him. I remember went he faded away I felt very sad like NO come back type of sad. I'll always look at that day as the day I met Jesus. I also saw gremlins eating my boyfriend's neck while I was looking out the window. We broke up not too long after that (thank God!). Luckily, I saw people freak out on these drugs, so I learned from it and was able to remain calm. I was glad when it was all over but I stuck to mescaline and pot after that, at least you laugh. Once I got away from the boyfriend, I never did drugs again...thank God! Today I don't have reliance on any chemicals, coffee, cigarettes, alcohol...nada I quit EVERYTHING. I feel like if I even see myself becoming hooked on something, chocolate, food etc., I throw it out and stop buying it. I had an addiction to coffee creamer and kicked that too. I don't recommend anyone dropping acid, You need all the fricken brain cells you got! BTW today I am very much a follower of Christ. I try not to mess up the body that he gave me. I am the happiest I've ever been because I have peace in my soul, a 41 year marriage, two beautiful kids, two beautiful grandkids and I owe it all to Jesus. I was raised a Catholic but I am now a born again Christian. I didn't like the way the Catholic church handled all the child abuse accusations and some other things so I left that religion. I think if you are going to be a member of a religion, you need to be all in. Don't dabble. My advice is to follow him, he will never leave you nor forsake you. God bless!

The first couple times I took shrooms i ate it with food & my stomach would feel off throughout the trip which were good but recently I taken it on an empty stomach then ate something light 30 minutes later & didn’t feel that way so i think i hit my sweet spot in that aspect.

Is there any theory on why fear and panic attacks may arise when takin psilocybin?
@Ben-ph3gb
@Ben-ph3gb 2 ай бұрын
My theory is it is a reflection of deeper issues that are brung to the surface. people who often have social anxiety or panic attacks on weed often have social anxiety or panic attacks regularly.

You're right. People on SSRI's definitely are a larger percentage of suicides than people taking psilocybin.
