Without Jesus he is not saved . Eternity is with no reference to time or distance. Proof there is a God ! Look around and remove everything that is man made . Then as the most intelligent creatures on earth try to create another earth air and sea. There you have it. Wise old men are suppose to be wiser to know this . Being in a very dark dark minded place is not hard to see the light of god showing his creation .
