I’d have a hard time not telling him to take absolutely anything he liked. That’s a real honor to have him be so personable with them. He’s doing better in his 90’s then my dad was in his 60’s

Edit: I understood the OP “sharper”, I’m speaking to the totality of a person, mind body and spirit. The comparison that people are beat at 39, well 39 is 39 regardless. Clint is a legend and thriving, I’m with all of you that see that. I was simply speaking to the hyperbole of it. Clint stands alone.

I just found this clip and your comment on the day Bernard Hill passed, the actor known for being the Captain of the Titanic in James Camerons movie and as King Theoden of Rohan in The Lord of the Rings movies. I never really think about it such greats passing because they just feel like such pillars of entertainment culture. Theres few actors/entertainers passings that really hit me hard, like today, but Mr Eastwood will definitely be one of them. The Movie marathon will be epic with my family. Might skip Gran Torino cuz it's ending will actually make me ugly cry.

Clint is not an actor like Denzel or James Earl Jones but he was good in his movies and his directing really grew to become one of the greats of the 2nd half of the 20th century/beginning of the 21st. @@brondahawkins9264 My generation grew up on Clint Eastwood movies. He was my favorite actor as a kid and probably still is. Like prior generations copied John Wayne, I even copied some of the mannerisms of the characters Clint played, which were likely his own mannerisms. But then I grew up and realized the man he was and things about him that I didn’t approve of, the greatest of which was his womanizing, which doesn’t bother me much, but having illegitimate children does. Here’s a quote from an article about a biography about him: “"Clint: The Life and Legend" casts Eastwood as a compulsive womanizer and sexual predator who has fathered at least five illegitimate children, an inveterate back-stabber who constantly terminated friendships and fired professional colleagues who challenged his authority, and a paranoid control freak who was routinely capable of petty, malicious and vindictive behavior: One of Eastwood's former producers says, "If they ever called a meeting of all the people that Clint has screwed over, they'd have to hold it in the L.A.
