He lied about having had cancer- looked me in the eyes and SOBBED because he was afraid "the cancer would come back" knowing full well my mom had had cancer, and was in such poor health, I was her primary care giver. He would get blasted drunk and threaten to kill himself when I wasn't there. I'd rush to his place. EVERY fight ended up with me begging forgiveness, just to hope he'd stop berating me. He lied about liking cats to meet me- I had rescued some kittens. He full on adopted one. The only credit I'll give him is that he Did treat that cat well.

My Highschool club(which focused on mental health) was invited to a mental health event in LA. The event had a couple performers who would talk about themselves, their struggles with mental health, sing some of their meaningful songs, and then answer questions from students in the audience. One of the Performers was Clinton Kane and from the minute he walked in it was evident he did NOT want to be there. He told us all the same lies about his family all passing, where he's from, and he had the fake accent on the whole time. And the entire time he hardly did his best to explain the meaning behind his songs and answer questions from the students in the crowd. Just thought I'd share my experience with him lol.

Dude sounds like my ex, who told people I left him and we argued a lot, but failed to tell people he once threw me on the ground, ripped wires out of my car, CONSTANTLY texted me and if I was working and couldn’t answer him, he’d show up at my job, but it was TOTALLY FINE that he disappeared to a female friends house to supposedly fix her car, would hide my car keys as punishment, not answer me for 6 hours and then come home smelling like this girls perfume, not oil, and his hands were spotless, he had alcohol and spending issues, but I’m so awful for leaving him and telling people he’s not the nice guy he plays off to be. Police have literally had to be involved with every breakup. Dude is nuts.

My first boyfriend deceived me by claiming he was born in '98, while I was born in '99. One day, while at the pool with his sister, her partner, and his mother and aunt, I casually mentioned that he was a year older than me, having been born in '98. His sister, looking directly at me, corrected me by saying, "No, he's not. He was born in '99 and is actually two months younger than you." Despite this revelation, I continued to date him, but the knowledge of his lie constantly bothered me. Eventually, I ended the relationship two weeks later. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded dating someone my age, but the fact that he lied about it was always unsettling. What else could he lie about in the future if he could lie about something so simple?

When I was 19, something very similar happened to me except he was older than he told me, 10 years older. He also lovebombed then trauma dumped to suck me into the relationship, and he intentionally did things that made me feel like I relied on him. He had been married multiple times and was a dead beat dad, he never owned up to any of it I had to find out myself by scouring the internet, background checks, and reaching out to his sister when I found her real Facebook (not the fake one he made for her). He lied about things he had no reason to lie about, except maybe to gain sympathy/respect. We lived together for 3 years and he maintained all of the lies till the end. It absolutely destroys your ability to fully trust anyone again

My ex and I planned our baby. We worked for 6 months with ovulation testing and temp taking every morning. I got pregnant with our baby. He was soooooooo excited. Before I got pregnant, he was the best partner I ever had. While I was pregnant, it was extremely high risk. I had to go to a very high risk specialist 3 times a week while pregnant. He broke up with me while I was 9 months pregnant. I had our daughter who is medically complex. He lived 2 miles away. He has seen her 10 times in 2 years and this July it will be a full year since he has seen her. I also just found out that 3 months after our daughter was born, he got another woman pregnant. He hid that child and gf from me until he was exposed at our child support hearing (which is still doesn't pay). Turns out he was having an affair with this girl when I was 6 months pregnant. He raises that child who is almost a year to the day younger than my daughter. People like this exist and it blows my mind because I would never treat a person like this.

Hey Cooper, I think it would be GREAT if you could cover the allegations against Cody Ko. Basically, when he was 25 he slept with Tana Mongeau who was 17 at the time. He's also currently friends with Colby Leachman who drugged and r@p3d a girl and went on to record his friend doing the same. Colby's accusations have been tried and proven in court yet Cody continues to be friends with him (he was also friends with him when he committed this crime). There have been videos covering these topics but Cody continues to ignore this despite the fact his victim (Tana Mongeau) has spoken out against him along with many of his fans trying to call him out. On his reddit anyone who tries to bring up these topics are censored and banned, same with his youtube comments. I think more coverage would really help bring awareness to his current fanbase and put more pressure on him to come forward.

when i was 16 my high school bf lied about having cancer, literally led me to believe he had life threatening CANCER! he made up a whole story about having to fly to another state with his dad to go to a specialist. my other favorite lie was he told me he was in foster care bc his "bio parents" were drug addicts. he also had a "little sister" in foster care too, who he never saw again after being adopted at age 6. this lie i never believed cause he literally looks identical to his mom and older sister, also his mom and i had previous convos about when she was pregnant with him and about the day he was born... these are the major ones but boy would lie about the weirdest/littlest stuff too for no reason! it was so strange, hope he's well ✌🏼

I must say I married the same kind of man. I ignored the red flags of him lying about his age, lying about his “psycho ex”, deaths in the family, cheating, etc. He was BEYOND clingy which I wasn’t used to and enjoyed until it became obsessive. Long story short my ex became abusive mentally and physically after we got married. Every time I tried to leave he pulled the suicide card and one time actually attempted bc I decided to leave. Stay away from the severely insecure because they’re toxic asf! It’s not our job to help nor fix them bc we can never love them enough for them to change.
