Thank you for this demonstration!!! My 9 & 11 y.o. want to start showing heifers. We are 100% without assistance/instruction, and researching all on our own.

The last time I went to my county fair was at the invitation of a young couple who were new neighbors. The husband's youngest brother was showing a calf and he knew that I had showed calves in my youth. The youth was struggling to prepare his calf for the show with no help. As soon as I stepped in to help, I was approached by officials from the fair. They said I was a professional groomer and could not help any of the kids prepare. They said all of us that had came from my time period were considered professional groomers. It disgusted me enough that I have not been back.
