One of the best Hip Hop albums of the era. I was at Fort Hood as a soldier. I remember picking this cd up at the PX. By the time I got to my boys crib I knew it was a classic. I have no idea what it is to be influenced by what's hot, or what other people thought. If I think it's dope to me, that's all I ever needed. At this point I own a lot of music. I own all of the Clipse albums and most of their mixtapes. I don' t anything by Nelly or anyone out of that camp. Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's good, especially in this era.

Lol I remember being in middle school when Lord Willin' dropped. This could have been the first CD I ever bought, and to this day, I regret not buying it when I had the chance in '02. CD's were like $20 at the time. I saved up all my money to buy a CD and it came down to Nellyville and Lord Willin.... and I chose NELLYVILLE. Whhyyyyy?! (Kenan voice)

***** I can't lie though, that Nellyville album had some joints. I had it on repeat in the anti-skip CD player, ya feel me? lol But yeah I agree, the late 90s-early 2000s was golden. My favorite era of hip hop. The music videos are still dope to this day.

This is back when BET was good and would play music videos non-Stop during the day and then from 2-4 they would play Cita's World and then at 4-6 they would play Rap City Tha Basement and then at 6 they would play 106 & Park back when TV was worth watching so many memories!
