The aim of this webinar is to explore the psychological, general health and wellbeing challenges that you may encounter when living on active monitoring (watch and wait).
During this session we discuss what to look out for and strategies that can make a difference to improve your day to day quality of life and equip you for the future.
What information and support is available to help live well with “watch and wait”? What role can physical activity, diet, sleep and rest, stress management, infection control, talking to others and meeting other patients play?
We are joined by:
Dr Scott Marshall, Consultant Haematologist, City Hospitals Sunderland Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Helen Knight, CLL CNS, Nottingham Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mike Norris, Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, NHS Durham and Darlington Talking Therapies
Audience: those affected by a diagnosis of CLL, patients, friends and family.
