I'm not a Clana fan too, but problably you're right, if he have trust her more and shared his Secrets, maybe they would have ended up together. But as in the real life, you just learn to correct your own mistakes after making them, and this is what happened, Clark learned from his mistakes and did it right with Lois.

@Mandie Soares In Clark's defense Lois was also more mature by the time they started down this path than Lana was when she was faced with the same issues that Lois was. Lois was able to assess Clark's feelings far better than Lana. She knew when he was scared and adjusted her tone of voice, body language, and words to help him feel safe in opening up. Lana was simply to young at the time to see Clark's fear, but Lois wasn't. That changes things, Clark felt safe that Lois wouldn't hurt him because she made sure he felt that way. Makes it easier to open up when the other person helps you feel comfortable. An example is when Clark told Lois they should be together. Lois went from hyper and loud, to sitting down, slow calm speech, and very soft voice tone. She was reassuring Clark that she heard him and wasn't trying to dissuade him but had a few concerns. The way she handled it made Clark comfortable in pushing his point further. There is a similar scene with Lana, but she pushed back to hard and Clark got scared and played it off and ended the thought. However it was clear that Lana knew she made a mistake. Kirsten intentionally gave a look of disappointment that Clark didn't fight for his point more. I took that as Lana not knowing when to back down. It's something she learns to do in later seasons, but by then they have a very cloudy history. If she had been able to be more mature when they were still learning about each other, there's a chance things go differently. But that's life

@@ryanabate1981 I agree with you. You could see both Lois and Clark becoming more mature throughout the show. We know it's unfare to demand this type of mature from a couple of teenagers as Lana and Clark were when they dated. But also, Lois has always been more a understanding person, even with her others boyfriends like Oliver. The big difference between Lois and Lana was that Lois understood why the Blur couldn't tell his secret, and when she found out that he was Clark, she encouraged him to be a hero, not demanding him to tell the truth. Her actions made him really trust her.

@Mandie Soares Lois knew herself far better than Lana knew herself. Lois never felt the need to be Clark's physical equal to be with him. She knew she had qualities of her own to bring to the table. Lana had to have Clark thinking she died twice just to find herself and even then all she finds is a need to get powers just to be with him. If you read the season 11 comic strip it shows Lana still watching over Clark from a distance pining after him. Lana and Lois have a conversation where Lois makes it fairly clear that she didn't need Clark to define who she is and Lana basically says the opposite. Lana admitted that she was defined by her relationship with Clark. It was a good interaction that would have been the script for season 11, that's why they turned it into a comic, so that we still had the storyline. Lois was Clark's partner, Lana was his girl, big difference.

@@ryanabate1981 Nice point, didn't know it. Fortunately from the season 8 Clois was better developed and they become this beautiful couple.

Nah. I like lois' cute chaos. Both Lana and Clarke being cool and laid back makes them kinda boring. He loved Lana though and i enjoyed their time together but I adore lois and Clarke.

Lana just made him sad and miserable. And she was so selfish and rude. Lois is kind and supportive

Lana was always too busy trying to prove she was a “big girl” to actually be one. Lois never tried to be anything but what she is, and that’s what Clark needed. She never cared that he was more powerful than her, or was the one with the destiny. She was just happy to be the wind beneath his cape.

If Lois is insecure then wtf is Miss-I-Can't-Tell-I-Am-Sleeping-With-Bizarro lmao? She had a major case of p*nis envy when she decided to get the same powers as Clark. Don't even get me started on her being a metaphorical and literal poison for Clark. You didn't watch the show.
