Thank you for confirming the use of plastic model cement, I hate super glue, and figured these guys are no different than any plastic model in my collection...👍

Awesome Video, thank you - starting my adventure into miniature wargames and my clones core set arrived yesterday. Was playing with dry fitting last night and changing them around - did my heavy in the exact same pose as you, 100% adding a rock to the base now! Glad to see someone else doesn't want to repeat clone poses!

Magnetizing with 2mm magnets is another way to get even more tricky with your customizing, little more time consuming though but more reversible changes rather than gluing. Great vid!

Great video, although with the leader of the unit I ended up using a different body for the second one. Unfortunately the second leader doesn't end up with his own pair of binoculars, but leaders are meant to point, not to wear binoculars. I figure he got tired of scouting things out and handed them to a lackey so he could focus on shooting clankers.

Hey man! I just used some rocks from the Mars Earth base ready mix and padded them out with some mulit purpose filler, then hot most of the sides with Mars Earth again :)

I was under the impression plastic glue didn't work well with the softer plastic minis. Did you find it stable enough?

Absolutely fine with the clones bro. If you have any stubborn joints like the wrist use super glue, but that was only needed on one of 20 clones for me :)

When I used strictly plastic glue on my imps the unit stayed together for the most part however I regularly had guys popping off bases. So I ended up super gluing them down. Didn’t have any problems after that.

Something I might get yelled at about is, do I need to glue the clones? I kinda feel I might want to customise them later down the line and make them unique and give them their own "personality" so I don't want to make their poses permanent straightaway.

They might not hold in but if they're not falling apart then why not? Most of the joints are firm enough it's the arms I might be worried about.

Probably a dumb question but I'm used to GW plastics so I've gotta ask. Is there a disadvantage to just skipping plastic glue and using super glue for everything? Or is plastic glue just better period because of the softer nature of this type of plastic? I have never worked with plastic glue, only super glue so I have no clue what its tolerances are.

For phase one clones you absolutely do the want to use plastic glue. Super glue is better for the old FFG soft plastic :)

details look great , but something that kept me off buying this set is the ammount of bent blasters i saw in pictures all over the internet , is there a way to rebend them ?

Yeah it's soft plastic so just gently bend them back and they're not too bad, but all the new clones are now ahrd plastic so phase II and onewards!

@@skylergalle3732 sounds like a good batch! Might be the blasters of the clones are a bit thinner maybe? But these clones are just the same material, they're not hard plastic like the droids. The sculpts themselves just have more details and are a bit crisper.
