The show that was canceled and then un-canceled that's my show. -Matt Lanter ...ironic.

I thought Hayden did very well. Matt definitely added to Anakin's character because i think the dialogue for the character was better written for The Clone Wars then the prequels. Anakin is definitely my favorite character. I hope you and Matt voice your characters for Battlefront 2. Already have Dee Bradley Baker, Matthew Wood, and Sam Witwer. Just need you guys!

Matt did a good job with Anakin. I honestly think he fits the Clone Wars Version of him because honestly, Hayden sounds like a not-wartime version of him, but Matt is more of the war time version, with adrenaline pumping.

God this makes me sad... These actors are so humble, and so amazing, and it truly means something with how close they hold the show to their hearts. They truly are dedicated to their characters, the show, and their fellow cast members; it's all around just beautiful. The show was SO well written, and SO well done, the Series is a genuine masterpiece. My heart has been broken since the news of its cancellation. Disney, I am sorry to say this, but they are a VERY selfish company. They canceled a show in which had/had SOOOO many fans, in whom were incredibly passionate about. Even after years of demand, Disney has still given us nothing back. They didn't even have the decency to let them finish admitting and editing the last episodes that were released, or to let them finish the Season. To this day I hold it against Disney for their decision to do this to fans of Star Wars. They destroyed so many great aspects of the Star Wars Universe upon their arrival, and canceling The Clone Wars was one of the biggest blows. I am STILL not over it. Seeing these cast members come together to discuss this beautiful show makes me so happy, I miss them dearly. I still wish this show would come back, though it most likely never will. I miss this show so much, it truly meant a lot to me both growing up, and in my life entirely. I may sound a bit sour for holding it against Disney the way I do, but at the end of the day, it is on them. Forgive me for the negativity, but I can't forgive them for taking this show away the way they did.

The Clone Wars voices are the definitive versions of these characters, to me. I love JAT’s Obi-Wan, Matt’s Anakin and Cat’s Padme.

Clone Wars Anakin will always be different than Film Anakin for many reasons. Many people fail to realize this, but films reflect very critical periods of Anakin's life and are the reasons he acts the way he does. In episode 2, we see a powerful young man doing what he's always dreamed of doing, but on a well-worn dog's leash. He's ready to become a knight and move on. I relate to this because I am still a tech waiting to get into physical therapy school and become a "knight" myself. However, I did not get into school and have to spend yet another year answering to a "master" before I am truly on my own. In addition to that, Anakin is reunited with his old love again and is shocked to realize that the Jedi and the teachings that he once placed so much value in are actually flawed once he realized there was nothing wrong with him for feeling love for padme and something wrong with the order. Then in Episode 3, we see an experienced hero suffering from critical PTSD and manipulation from people he thinks he can trust all the while watching everyone he loves be in constant danger all the time, and becoming more and more aware of his infallible Jedi becoming more and more fallible. Therefore, OF COURSE HE ACTS THE WAY HE DOES! This is what prequel haters fail to realize and blame on bad acting and writing. But it makes perfect sense. He was able to be written and played differently in clone wars because at that period of Anakin's life, he had everything: Jedi knighthood (which he had wanted his whole life), independence, a real friendship with a master he loved and respected, a kickass Padawan and beautiful wife. His PTSD was just beginning to form but had not taken hold of him yet until the later seasons as his dark moments become more and more prominent. But in the early seasons, we see him with everything he ever wanted and constantly kicking ass with his brothers and sisters in arms, and coming home to a beautiful wife at the end of the day. So THAT's why he is so different in Clone Wars then in the films, and if you ask me, it's perfect that we got to see Anakin like that.

Matt’s version of Anakin felt more like someone who would be Luke Skywalker’s father. Nothing against Hayden.

Now I can see beyond the point where the video went towards the dark side! Any way, Matt and James, like Obi-Wan and Anakin, are truly more than friends, they're brothers, and Cat Taber is Matt's VO wifey (It ain't weired at all, a lot of VA's have at least one or more), and Ashley is pretty much his sister. Huh, so does that make Dee and Tom his uncles? Or am I overthinking this? Maybe, probably.

Man this took me back. I literally grew up with the Clone Wars series. I really hope that one day it can come back for one last full season to set up revenge of the sith.

Man I wish Lucasfilm could make a live action movie with Matt Lanter as Anakin. I'd pay all the money to see that.

In response to Matt's point about the voices being higher in the clone wars, that was absolutely a thing, and I'd argue that JAT and Ashley did it as well. I'd watched seasons 1-6 before even realizing there was a movie, so I went back and watched the movie, and everyone's voices were noticeably higher.

These are awesome, James. It's something that every Clone Wars fan can enjoy. You should find a way to get it out to more people. I bet Star Wars would be willing to post them on the website if you wanted.

Matt is the Chosen One

Returning to these interviews after watching the final season and my gosh Matt has such a great understanding of Anakin as a character. His performance is fantastic!

You know when your pupil dilates when you see something you love ? That's what happened when I saw the notification pop on my screen.

I absolutely love The Clone Wars.

I hope all the people who made Clone Wars know how much fans love the show.

Now I want to have a brother, best Friend or even boy friend like Anakin ( Matt Lanter) He cares deeply about his Friends and loved ones. He is such a heart warming Character. Matt's voice is so reassuring. I can listen to him for hours. When Anakin becames a Master ( to Ahsoka) his kind of teaching remembers me like a father who is teaching his child about the world. A father I always want to have and never had. He is protectiv, loyal, cool, funny and always having a great heart. Matt Lanter plays his character more than perfect! Because of Matt Lanter I learned to love Anakin Skywalker. Thank you, Master!

I think Matt it's the best actor who has portrayed Anakin (not Vader, James Earl Jones is the best portrayal of Vader, but Matt of Anakin).

That ending I loved this episode. Clone wars was the best tv show ever I hope they put Aniken and Asoka in battlefront I wish I could go back and watch them all not knowing anything about the episodes thanks guys for a good childhood.

You guys made Clone Wars epic!! The animated battles were the other half - but what sticks with you are definitely the characters ... you are family to us fans! We will support all your projects in whatever ways you tell us to.

Another great episode. Your level of passion for this project astonishes me and your longing for more Clone Wars is so palpable. But, and I may be spoiled here because every episode until now shared practically every opinion of mine, I think Hayden's performance should be given more credit. He plays what he is supposed to be like in those specific episodes of the Star Wars saga. You can definitely see the TCW's Anakin in the beginning of episode III. Anakin is what he is. At war he is a warrior, a guy who is genuinely good and inspire his friends to accomplish wonders (I made him sound like Superman almost). But he is just incapable of fighting his own wars and ends up losing. At the end it is all just a matter of opinion, but I think a genuine human heart is there in the two Anakin versions that we got.

The Clone Wars was what really got me into Star Wars. I had watched the movies as a kid, but it wasn't until I began watching the Clone Wars, with its creative story telling, impressive world (galaxy?) building and fun characters that I really got hooked into Star Wars and became a fan (especially of Obi-Wan and Ahsoka). I really love these videos, they remind me of that same feeling I got when I first watched TCW.

I'd love to have clone wars conversations be back in production some day!

@James Arnold taylor First off a great conversation looking forward to the next part don't know if there is anything you can do for future recordings but Matt's shirt was having an issue with sharpness when he moved cause of the pattern. Don't know if you have this or not but a small clothing rack of camera friendly clothing in your studio might be useful. Also you talked about the banter between Obi Wan and Anakin which is a key part of their relation and a beloved part is well. And my favourite lines are the first lines you ever say to each other from the opening of the 2008 film. Anakin: They're back! Obi Wan: I told you this victory was too easy, I knew we shouldn't of sent the ships back for more supplies. Anakin: It wasn't my idea to send the ships back. Those lines showed off the banter you had and did a solid job of really setting up your relationship. And it was fun to watch that relationship grow and develop over the course of the show. Keep up the good work with these. Not sure on who you have lined up or already recorded, Would be nice to get Dee, Tom, Phill LaMarr, and Terrence Carson.

These videos are great. I've only watched the Sam Witwer and now these segments with Matt Lanter, but they've allowed me to appreciate clone wars much more. I've personally never been a huge fan of them(some episodes were fun, I just felt alot of things contradicted main plot lines of the movies). But these really make me appreciate the art and work that these actors put Into making these characters come alive.

I'm excited for the rest of the family. Dee and Ashley especially!!! It would be cool if you gather as much of the crew together and just have vlog of you guys walking around and hanging!❤️
