works exactly as advertised! I hooked up my roku 3 and the only hiccup was i had to hold down the source button until the device reset; pressing the hdmi button didn't work, pressing the source button once for selecting the input didn't work; only holding it down till it blinks works, then let go and bam! Thanks very much man!!!! btw as far as i can tell I can't live stream with it, but that's only a second concern for me.

well I, My Dad, My Brother and my best friend has had one of these since 2017. We Record anything and everything, BUT we did notice we had to buy a cheap $30 HDMI switcher to bypass any HCDP. Thats so you can use your DVD, blu ray player hooked up to it, or any signal producing a HCDP signal. We all have those HDMI switchers installed, so we record ANYTHING we want, no matter what it is. I have about a 1 in 6 failure rate of a corrupt recording each to I try a long recording with it plus 90min, I have software that will correct the corrupted file. I find it easier to use fat32 with 2gb recorded files, more stable recordings and easier just to correct 1 - 2gb file than an entire 8 to 13gb single file using NTFS. I use a 128gb USB 3.0 Samsung flash drive. I have tried many of these and even though its not perfect its the most stable and trouble free on I have ever used. I only use it now 3-4x a year, but it works and records each time I need to. Its great when you buy a HD recording from Amazon prime and need a backup of it for your own records.

What I didn't get notified of and they should tell you but they don't--- you'll need an extra hdmi cord and a new thumb drive. An old one wouldn't work for me. Better to be safe than sorry.

Concerning the HDCP mentioned above. Will we need a HDMI switcher to record signals that employ HDCP? That's not a deal breaker by any means, but a fair question all the same.

I set up to record and at the end of setting it up to record I hit save and when I do I shows the letters NG I have no idea what that means .

it appears that the cloner alliance box pro does not recognize a TCL ROKU smart tv as a video source.can i attach a roku streaming device to the TCL roku tv set?

I got a cloner alliance 4K pro but I think setting the system run time was a mistake. Now it only records like 10 seconds of a show since I put that on. And now I can't get it off. I've tried everything to get it off, including unplugging it for about an hour, but still nothing works! What can I do:?

Still have very little info on how to schedule recording in the future. I thought this device was suppose to store up to 4 recording schedules. I see where you input the times for r a recording, but you are saying in your note that the tv must be left on the channel u want to record. So the TV has to be left on during that time of the desired recording? If this is true, this feature is about useless. I was hoping it had a basic dvr capability but looks like it only has some type of stone age attempt at it.

the device will only record what is on your TV. It is meant to record something that is perhaps on late night or on when you are going out - too bad it can;t record one channel while you watch another one.
