To my understanding the grave stones were moved round the edge a number of them were being damaged many years ago by thugs

Another cool place bud. Having a stab at why the graves are lined against the hedge, possibly to stop the desecration and hinder grave robbers also to make it easier for the land owners to cut the grass. thumbs up again mate. be lucky.

hey Larry , surprised to see this place all tidied up with the new gravel paths etc. last time I went there it looked proper abandoned and messed up. my parents lived in nearby Flitwick in the 60's and one of the few reasons they moved back to start Alban's was some shenanigans that was going on at the church at the time . You should check out Minsden Chapel , in Preston , Herts . only about half an hour from clophill 😉

I flew my drone up there today the graves are lined up because people dug up the bodies and moved the graves round the edge and also there is someone that committed suicide inside apparently

I've been there many times played there as a kid also most of my family sre buried there as well. as my family lived in clophill since the war it is a right creepy place. also there's a secret tunnel underground that they used to use
